What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Demo on 31 Jul 2023 for Emma Illingworth and Ian Walsh. They tested cross-system search, client pages, freshness and confidentiality, then asked about go-live. Nell Ashcombe promised four weeks from signing and a proposal.
What happened: Tobias Renwick showed search across CRM, email and call recordings, then client pages. Emma and Ian asked practical questions throughout and moved to timing at the end.
Customer view: Emma tied the brain to knowledge transfer when people leave. Ian raised confidentiality of client data, and Tobias answered that data stays in their Snowflake account.
Commercial: Support was described at Starter level, with a four-business-hour response time. Nell said go-live would be four weeks from signing, with a proposal to follow and then an order form.
Watch: Confidentiality was the one concern raised. The call shows no price discussion and no decision yet.

Follow-up
Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Nell Ashcombe to send Emma and Ian a proposal, then move to an order form if it works for them.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- Client confidentiality was the customer's stated concern, so the security answer has to hold in the proposal and order form.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- Knowledge transfer when consultants leave is a use case the customer recognised as useful.
- Ian asked about client dashboard pages, which suggests interest in building pages for their teams.
Transcript
- Nell Ashcombe NoneRight, Emma, Ian, thanks for joining. This is Tobias from our engineering team. He's going to walk you through the brain working on data like yours.
- Tobias Renwick NoneHi both. What I'm going to show is how the brain would work with your client engagements, internal comms, and project data. Let me share my screen.
- Emma Illingworth NoneOkay.
- Tobias Renwick NoneSo you're logged in as a project manager. You want to find all transformation engagements you've run in the last two years. I type into search: 'show me transformation projects completed in the last two years'.
- Ian Walsh NoneAnd it pulls that from your CRM?
- Tobias Renwick NoneCRM and email and call recordings. It's cross-referencing all your systems at once. Back comes a table: project name, client, dates, status, budget, actual spend.
- Emma Illingworth NoneSo I can see straight away if something ran over budget.
- Tobias Renwick NoneExactly. And you can then dive deeper. Click on a project, you see all the conversations we had with the client, all the internal notes. Without leaving the brain.
- Ian Walsh NoneWhat if I want to find everyone who's spoken to a particular client?
- Tobias Renwick NoneYou'd search 'show me everyone at Ambrose who has emailed or called client X in the last year'. Back comes a list of names and their interactions.
- Emma Illingworth NoneThat's useful for knowledge transfer.
- Tobias Renwick NoneExactly. That's often why consulting firms use the brain. Someone leaves and you lose what they knew. The brain keeps the knowledge visible.
- Ian Walsh NoneWhat about pages? Can you build a page that's like a client dashboard?
- Tobias Renwick NoneYeah. I could create a page called 'Client X Dashboard' and put searches on it...'all projects', 'all conversations last thirty days', 'any open issues'. Your team sees that page every time they log in.
- Emma Illingworth NoneHow fresh is the data?
- Tobias Renwick NoneNightly refresh. We pull everything from your systems every evening and index it. By seven in the morning you've got today's data.
- Ian Walsh NoneIs it secure? We deal with confidential client data.
- Tobias Renwick NoneTo be precise, all your data stays in your Snowflake account. We don't copy it. The brain runs as a layer on top. You control all access. And we're built for companies like yours that need to protect client confidentiality.
- Emma Illingworth NoneWhat happens if something breaks?
- Tobias Renwick NoneYou raise a ticket. Starter gets a four-business-hour response time. Most issues are source-system changes, something renamed in your CRM, that kind of thing. We can usually fix those pretty quickly.
- Nell Ashcombe NoneAny other questions?
- Ian Walsh NoneWhen could we go live?
- Nell Ashcombe NoneFour weeks from signing. So if you decide to move forward, we could have you live by mid-September.
- Emma Illingworth NoneOkay. What's next?
- Nell Ashcombe NoneI'll send you a proposal. You review it, we answer questions, and if it works, we move to an order form. No drama.
