What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Andrew Pickering finds the £48,500 Growth renewal reasonable and the same as before. He is content in principle but will not sign until he sees a revised form with the term stated clearly.
What happened: Andrew Pickering, Helen Varley and Paula Rennie joined Priya Raman and Marcus Bell. Andrew called the £48,500 Growth figure for forty users reasonable and unchanged.
Customer view: His concerns are terms rather than price: service levels as today, a named person if the account manager changes, and the term stated clearly. Paula asked for the purchase order number on the invoice and when it will be raised.
Commercial: Andrew is content in principle but did not sign. Priya is targeting 16 Apr 2026 and the current term ends 30 Apr 2026.
Watch: Signature is not shown in this call. Andrew said Priya need not chase him, but he expects she will.

Follow-up
Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Priya Raman to reissue the order form with the twelve month term and dates explicit, and send the covering email naming her and Marcus.
- Paula Rennie to send the purchase order number to Priya so it appears on the invoice.
- Marcus Bell to send Andrew the one-pager.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- The renewal is unsigned and depends on Andrew approving the revised form.
- The current term ends 30 Apr 2026, so slippage past 16 Apr 2026 narrows the margin.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- Helen Varley reports three more account managers using the brain, which supports the value case.
Transcript
- Priya Raman NoneAfternoon, everyone. Happy Friday. I think we've got everybody, Andrew, Helen, Paula, Marcus. Shall we dive in?
- Andrew Pickering NoneGood afternoon. Priya, I trust you are well. I have the order form you sent and I have read it.
- Priya Raman NoneBrilliant. So quick recap, where we are: renewal is in negotiation, we're targeting Thursday 16 April 2026 to close, the current term ends on Thursday 30 April 2026 and the new one starts on 1 May 2026. Andrew, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the form.
- Andrew Pickering NoneThank you. In the round, I find it reasonable. The figure is £48,500 a year for Growth, forty users, and that is the same figure we have paid. Is that correct?
- Priya Raman NoneThat's correct, Andrew. Same tier, same users, same annual figure.
- Andrew Pickering NoneThen my remaining concerns are about terms rather than amount. I should like the service levels to be as they are today, and I would like to know that if our account manager changes again, there is a named person responsible.
- Priya Raman NoneYes. The service levels carry over unchanged. And the named person is me for the commercial side, with Marcus as your customer success manager. I'm happy to put both names into the covering email.
- Andrew Pickering NoneThank you. I'd like that in writing.
- Priya Raman NoneIt will be in the email I send after this call.
- Helen Varley NoneCan I add something? Since the review, three more account managers have started using it. That's the value for me. I'd rather say that than leave it all to the numbers.
- Marcus Bell NoneThat matches what I'm seeing. Active users are up by roughly a fifth on last quarter, questions asked are up, and nothing is stale. One ticket this month, a how-to, closed.
- Andrew Pickering NoneGood. I'm glad to hear it. Paula, you had a question about invoicing, I believe.
- Paula Rennie NoneYes. Two things. We need the invoice to carry our purchase order number. And I need to know when it will be raised, so I can plan the payment run.
- Priya Raman NoneSend me the purchase order number and I'll make sure our finance team has it. The invoice is raised at the start of the new term, annual in advance, thirty day terms. So you'd see it around the beginning of May.
- Paula Rennie NoneThat works. And there's nothing extra on it? No implementation fee or anything?
- Priya Raman NoneNo, it's a renewal, so the subscription only. £48,500, nothing else on it.
- Paula Rennie NoneThank you, that's what I wanted to hear.
- Andrew Pickering NoneOne other matter. I would like the renewal term stated clearly in the document. I do not care to be surprised.
- Priya Raman NoneOf course. It's a twelve month term, annual, and I'll make the dates explicit on the form. I'll reissue it with that tidied so there's no ambiguity.
- Andrew Pickering NoneExcellent. Then I am content in principle, subject to seeing the revised form. I shall not be signing today.
- Priya Raman NoneCompletely understood. If we can get the revised form to you by early next week, could you look at it before the sixteenth?
- Andrew Pickering NoneI shall look at it when it arrives. You need not chase me, but I expect you will.
- Priya Raman NoneI will. Best-case I'd love it signed ahead of Thursday 16 April 2026, to keep momentum, but I'll work to your timetable.
- Helen Varley NoneAnything else for me? No? Then thanks, everyone. That was a productive one.
- Marcus Bell NoneThanks all. I'll send Andrew the one-pager this afternoon. Happy to jump on a call if anyone has questions.
- Andrew Pickering NoneThank you, Marcus. Good afternoon to you all.
- Priya Raman NoneCheers, everyone. Have a good weekend.
