What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Check-in on the renewal day. Liam Doherty confirms an easy renewal on Growth at the same fee, and depot manager usage is rising. The second admin is still outstanding.
What happened: Marcus Bell confirmed the renewal has gone through. Growth, forty licensed users, forty-four thousand for the year, same as before, with the term to 30 Nov 2026 and renewal on 1 Dec 2026.
Customer view: Liam said there was no drama and his finance director was happy once shown the retailer example. He credits the depot sessions for the rise in usage.
Commercial: Active users are the highest Marcus has seen for Brackwell, but still well under forty licensed. Liam wants a depot usage view and possibly shared depot totals in the dashboard.
Watch: The second admin Marcus asked for last time has not been named. Liam promised the name by the end of the week.

Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Liam Doherty sends the second admin's name by the end of the week and decides on shared depot totals.
- Marcus Bell sends slots for the depot managers' session and builds the depot usage view for the next review.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- Only Liam and one other are admins, and the promised second admin has not been named.
- Value is still shown through one person's retailer example, so the case for the next renewal needs fresh evidence.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- Depot manager usage is growing and a separate session with them could shape the next review.
- A depot usage view and shared depot totals in the dashboard would deepen use of Growth features.
Transcript
- Marcus Bell NoneMorning, Liam. Can you hear me alright? I'm just getting my screen up.
- Liam Doherty NoneMorning! Yep, loud and clear. Grey one out there, isn't it?
- Marcus Bell NoneProperly grey. Typical Monday in December. Did you get a break from the depots at the weekend?
- Liam Doherty NoneSort of. Went to see my mum in Salford, so lots of food, not much rest. But it was good. You?
- Marcus Bell NoneQuiet, which is how I like it. Okay, I'll keep this brisk, it's a half-hour check-in rather than a full review. I want to cover three things: usage, the tickets from the last month, and the renewal, which is actually today, so I'll start there if that's all right.
- Liam Doherty NoneGo for it. I was going to ask, to be fair.
- Marcus Bell NoneSo, first, thank you. Tom asked me to say that, he'd have said it himself but he's tied up this morning. The renewal's gone through. You're on Growth, forty licensed users, invoiced at forty-four thousand for the year, same as before. The term now runs to 30 Nov 2026 and it renews on 1 Dec 2026.
- Liam Doherty NoneBrilliant. Honestly, no drama on our side. My finance director was happy once I showed him the retailer example from the last review, so thanks for the summary, that did the job.
- Marcus Bell NoneGood to hear. That example was the best thing in it, to be honest. Real contract, real customer, caught early. That's what the brain's for.
- Liam Doherty NoneYeah. One view, that's the point. Do you want me to write up another one or is one enough?
- Marcus Bell NoneIf another comes up, send it over, but don't go hunting. Right, usage. Can you see the chart?
- Liam Doherty NoneI can. Line's gone up a fair bit.
- Marcus Bell NoneIt has. Active users are up well on last quarter, a proper jump, and it's the depot managers doing it. On an average day you've got a bit over eight people in there, which is the highest I've seen for Brackwell. Still plenty of room against forty licensed, but it's the right direction.
- Liam Doherty NoneLove that. The sessions helped. Once a couple of them saw their own customers on the screen, it spread. One of them told another to log in, which is the best bit, I didn't have to ask.
- Marcus Bell NoneThat's the stuff you can't force. And what are they mostly doing in there, from what you've seen?
- Liam Doherty NoneLooking up a customer before they ring them. That's the main one. What's been said on the last calls, any delivery exceptions this month. They used to ring me or dig through the helpdesk, now they just ask.
- Marcus Bell NoneWhich is what I'd hoped. I'm also seeing the dashboard you asked for getting looked at, the one with the depot filter.
- Liam Doherty NoneYeah, they like that. Simple. I think a couple of them have it open all day. One thing, I'd like them to be able to see the other depots' numbers, as a bit of friendly competition. Is that possible?
- Marcus Bell NoneIt's possible in the dashboard, it's more a question of whether you want every depot manager seeing every other depot's customers. Might be worth thinking about what's shared and what isn't. I'm happy to jump on a call and look at it with you.
- Liam Doherty NoneFair. Maybe just totals, not names. I'll think about it and come back.
- Marcus Bell NoneThat sounds sensible. Okay, tickets. Three in the last month, none of them high priority, and nothing that held anyone up.
- Liam Doherty NoneThree. That'll be the depot managers finding their feet, I'd guess. Were they sorted?
- Marcus Bell NoneYes, I've had a look and they're all closed off. With more people in there you'd expect a few more questions, so I wouldn't worry. If it were nothing at all I'd be more concerned, to be honest.
- Liam Doherty NoneHa, that's what I said last time. Either good or nobody's using it.
- Marcus Bell NoneYou did, and now we know which. Right, and invoicing, nothing overdue, so finance is happy on both sides.
- Liam Doherty NoneGood. Our finance team pay on the dot, they'd be on to me otherwise.
- Marcus Bell NoneOkay. One housekeeping thing from last time, the second admin. Did that get anywhere?
- Liam Doherty NoneAh. No. Sorry. I meant to. It's still me and one other. Let me do it this week, I've got someone in mind, one of the team who's in there every day anyway.
- Marcus Bell NoneNo stress. It's just if you're away and a connector needs attention, or somebody needs adding, it's good to have someone who can do it. Send me the name when you've decided and I'll check it's set up properly.
- Liam Doherty NoneWill do. By the end of the week.
- Marcus Bell NoneGreat. Now, you've got the quarterly reviews in Growth, so the next one's coming in the new quarter. What would you like in it? I don't want to give you the same pack again.
- Liam Doherty NoneGood question. I'd like to show the depot managers' usage by depot, who's using it and who isn't, so I can have a chat with the quiet ones. And the retail contracts thing again, which accounts the brain flagged. That's what the finance director likes.
- Marcus Bell NoneBoth doable. I'll build the depot view and I'll pull together which contracts came up, as a list you can read in a minute. Do you want the depot managers on the call or just you?
- Liam Doherty NoneJust me for the review. But maybe I bring a couple of them to a separate one, let them tell you what they'd change. They'd love to be asked.
- Marcus Bell NoneI'd really like that, it's the best feedback I can get. Shall we book half an hour for that, a couple of weeks after the review?
- Liam Doherty NoneYes. Let's do it. Send me a few slots and I'll pick.
- Marcus Bell NoneWill do. Anything you're worried about? Anything on the data side, anything stale, any system changing at your end that I should know about?
- Liam Doherty NoneNot that I know of. If we change something I'll tell you before it happens, I know what it does to the connectors. Nothing planned, as far as I know.
- Marcus Bell NoneThanks, that really helps, a heads-up is all I need. Okay, let me recap. You send me the second admin's name by the end of the week, and think about the shared depot totals. I send you a few slots for the depot managers' session and I'll build the depot usage view for the next review. Tom's done his bit on the renewal, so nothing needed from you there.
- Liam Doherty NoneThat's it. And say thanks to Tom from me. It was an easy one, which is how I like renewals.
- Marcus Bell NoneI will. Easy is good. Thanks, Liam. Enjoy the rest of your Monday.
- Liam Doherty NoneYou too. Cheers, Marcus. Speak soon.
- Marcus Bell NoneCheers. Bye for now.
