What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Marcus Bell's check-in with Liam Doherty on 23 Apr 2025 was positive. Usage is rising, a second person now asks questions, and Liam wants the other five depots trained and per-depot dashboards built. A possible new data source was floated.
What happened: Marcus Bell shared usage, tickets and invoicing. Liam Doherty said the Trafford Park training helped and an account manager now asks the brain about a retailer before each customer call.
Customer view: Liam called this exactly what Brackwell bought it for. Two how-to tickets were closed and nothing was overdue on invoices.
Commercial: Liam wants the other five depots trained and one dashboard per depot, which the Growth plan already includes. He also hinted at a possible operations data source later in the year, which could touch the connector limit.
Watch: Marcus said the contract runs to 30 Nov 2025 and renews on 1 Dec 2025, with Tom Ashdown on the commercial side. Aisha is cautious about touching dashboards and needs encouragement.

Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Marcus Bell sends slots for the five depot sessions, two a day where possible.
- Marcus Bell books thirty minutes with Aisha on the first per-depot dashboard.
- Liam Doherty tells Marcus when the new data source becomes a real plan.
Risks

- Aisha is cautious about touching dashboards and may need support before she builds more.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- Training sessions for the other five depots would widen adoption before the renewal.
- A possible operations delivery-data source later in the year could add a connector.
Transcript
- Liam Doherty NoneMarcus! Afternoon. Sorry, I'm in the car park, I'll be a minute getting inside. Can you hear me?
- Marcus Bell NoneAfternoon, Liam. Yes, a bit of wind on the line but I can hear you. No rush, I'll get my screen ready.
- Liam Doherty NoneRight, I'm in. Door's shut. Better?
- Marcus Bell NoneMuch better. How's the week been? Easter all behind you now?
- Liam Doherty NoneJust about. The bank holiday weekend caught us out a bit, one of the retailers had a promotion nobody told the depot about. Anyway, that's the job.
- Marcus Bell NoneThat sounds familiar. Okay, so today's a short one. I just want to share the numbers, hear how it's going, and see if there's anything I can unblock. I've pulled the numbers, so I'll put them up. Can you see it?
- Liam Doherty NoneI can. Usage page. Go on.
- Marcus Bell NoneSo, active users are up a little on the last quarter. We're averaging a bit under eight a day over the last thirty days, which is a nice improvement on where we were. It's still a small number against forty licences, but the direction is right.
- Liam Doherty NoneLove that. That's the training, I think. We did the Trafford Park session and a couple of the account managers just started using it. One of them asks it things before every customer call now.
- Marcus Bell NoneYes, I can see that name moving up on the questions list. Which is brilliant, because it's not just you any more.
- Liam Doherty NoneHa. Not just me. Thank goodness. I was getting a bit tired of being the brain's only fan.
- Marcus Bell NoneWhat's she asking, or he? Just so I understand how it's being used.
- Liam Doherty NoneIt's a she. Mostly things like, what's gone wrong with deliveries for this retailer in the last month, any open tickets, and what did we promise on the last call. She walks into the customer call knowing the lot. That's exactly what we bought it for.
- Marcus Bell NoneThat's a really good use. If it's alright with you, I'd like to turn that into a short example I could share with other customers. No names, just the pattern.
- Liam Doherty NoneYeah, fine by me. Just keep the retailer's name out.
- Marcus Bell NoneOf course. Right, tickets. You've had two in the last thirty days and neither was high priority. Both look like how-to questions, and both are closed. Does that match what you remember?
- Liam Doherty NoneYeah. One was Aisha asking about sharing a dashboard with a depot manager, I think. The other was me being daft about a filter.
- Marcus Bell NoneNot daft, that's what the helpdesk is for. And nothing overdue on invoices, so that side's clean too. The contracted amount and what's been invoiced both sit at forty-four thousand a year, no surprises.
- Liam Doherty NoneGood. I'd have heard from finance otherwise.
- Marcus Bell NoneRight. So that's the report. What's on your mind? What's not working?
- Liam Doherty NoneHm. Okay. Two things. One, I'd like to get the other five depots where Trafford Park is now. We've done one session, and the others keep asking when it's their turn. Can we book those?
- Marcus Bell NoneYes, definitely. Happy to jump on a call with each of them. Same format, thirty minutes, built on their own accounts. Do you want me to send you a few slots for the next couple of weeks, and you pick?
- Liam Doherty NoneThat'd be great. And if you can do two in a day, even better, because otherwise it drags on.
- Marcus Bell NoneTwo in a day is fine. Early afternoon seems to work for you, going by the diary. I'll propose it that way.
- Liam Doherty NonePerfect. Second thing, and it's a smaller one. The dashboards. Aisha built the review one, but I'd like one per depot with their exceptions and the retail contracts they look after. Is that something we can do ourselves or does it need you?
- Marcus Bell NoneYou can do it yourselves. The dashboards builder is included in your plan. If it helps, I can sit with Aisha and do the first one together, then she can copy it for the other depots.
- Liam Doherty NoneYeah, can you? She's quite cautious about touching things. She's brilliant, she just wants permission.
- Marcus Bell NoneI know. I'll tell her she's got it. We did talk about that on the last review. Shall we book thirty minutes for that as well?
- Liam Doherty NonePlease. Put it in the diary and I'll make sure she's free.
- Marcus Bell NoneWill do. Anything on the data side? Are the numbers looking right in the mornings, the things arriving on time?
- Liam Doherty NoneYeah, as far as I can tell. The Tuesday review has been fine. Nobody's complained. If something was off Aisha would tell me, she'd be on it straight away.
- Marcus Bell NoneThat's what I'd hoped. And I can see the records indexed are still going up, so nothing looks stuck on our side.
- Liam Doherty NoneGood. Oh, one thing, actually. We're talking internally about adding something new to what we feed into the brain. I don't want to say too much yet because it's not decided. But it might mean another source later in the year.
- Marcus Bell NoneOkay, that's interesting. Can you say roughly what kind of source? Not to pin you down, just so I can think about whether it fits.
- Liam Doherty NoneIt'd be more on the operations side, the delivery data itself. Right now we get the exceptions through tickets and the CRM. Honestly I don't know yet. I'll tell you when I do.
- Marcus Bell NoneNo problem. Let me know and I'll have a proper look at what it would involve. I won't promise anything until I've looked, but I'd rather hear early than late.
- Liam Doherty NoneUnderstood. I'll be straight with you.
- Marcus Bell NoneGood. And I'll just mention the renewal again, very lightly. Contract runs to 30 Nov 2025, renewal date is 1 Dec 2025. Nothing to do now. I'd start the conversation properly in the autumn, and Tom Ashdown will be involved on the commercial side.
- Liam Doherty NoneYeah, fine. By then we should have the depots using it and I'll have something to point at.
- Marcus Bell NoneThat's the plan. Okay, I think that's everything from me. Let me read back what I've got. One, I send slots for the other five depot sessions, two a day where we can. Two, I book thirty minutes with Aisha on the first per-depot dashboard. Three, you let me know when the new source is a real thing. Four, I write up the example, no names. Did I miss anything?
- Liam Doherty NoneNo, that's it. Oh, one second. The second admin name. I sent you one a while ago, didn't I?
- Marcus Bell NoneYou did, and that's all set up. Thanks for that.
- Liam Doherty NoneGood. Cheers, Marcus. Speak soon.
- Marcus Bell NoneThanks, Liam. Speak soon, bye.
