Current to 11 Oct 26Femi Olatunji reported dashboard filters not working (June data appearing in July-only filter) and a mismatch between dashboard totals and raw data exports. Olivia Grant explained filtering may differ between sources.
Problem: Dashboard filters return records outside date range and total counts don't match raw export. Handling: Olivia Grant asked clarifying questions, found that records outside range and count mismatch were both real. Suggested comparing dashboard export with raw export to verify they align. Watch: Data accuracy doubts erode confidence in the brain. Verify this is documented or fix if real filtering bug.

- created · Femi Olatunji 4 Aug 2026 13:39Hi, I'm having trouble getting accurate results from a dashboard query. I set up a filter but I'm not confident the data is correct. Can you help me verify?
- public_reply · Olivia Grant 4 Aug 2026 16:29Hi Femi, I can help with that. Just to be clear, are you seeing records that shouldn't be there, or are you missing records you expect to see?
- public_reply · Femi Olatunji 6 Aug 2026 09:43We're getting records from outside our date range. We filtered for July only but we're still seeing June data in the results. That's the issue.
- public_reply · Femi Olatunji 6 Aug 2026 12:53Actually, I just noticed something else. The total count in the dashboard doesn't match what we're seeing in the raw data export. So I'm not sure which one is correct. Is there a discrepancy I should know about?
- public_reply · Olivia Grant 6 Aug 2026 14:31Got it, thanks for that extra detail. The discrepancy might be because the dashboard applies some filters server-side. Can you export the data from the dashboard widget itself and compare that with the raw export? That should match. Try that and let me know if they align.
