What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Femi Olatunji reported that search returns no results for terms with hyphens (e.g. marketplace-enabled) even though records exist. Searching without hyphens works fine.
Problem: Search function broken on hyphenated terms; "marketplace-enabled" returns nothing while "marketplace" works. Handling: Olivia Grant requested specific examples. Root cause and resolution are not recorded in the ticket. Watch: Search is a core feature for discovery. Broken search on common term patterns reduces user engagement.

- created · Femi Olatunji 10 Apr 2026 08:57I'm experiencing an issue with the search function. When I search for terms with hyphens in them, I'm getting no results even though I know those records exist in the database. Other searches work fine, but anything with a hyphen seems broken. Can you investigate?
- public_reply · Olivia Grant 10 Apr 2026 14:33Thanks for reporting that. Can you give me an example of a search term that's not working? That'll help me trace where the issue is.
- public_reply · Femi Olatunji 13 Apr 2026 12:16The search term is "marketplace-enabled" with a hyphen. When I search for just "marketplace" it works fine, but the hyphenated version returns nothing. Same issue with other hyphenated terms I've tried.
