Current to 12 Oct 26Jonas Albrecht requested a feature to track which roles accessed what data for BaFin compliance. Olivia logged it with the product team and suggested using Snowflake audit logs as an interim solution.
Problem: regulated payment processor needs role-based access audit trail for compliance reviews. Current brain shows who is granted access but not who actually accessed what data or when.
Handling: support engineer logged the request with the product team and suggested an interim workaround using Snowflake's native audit logs, which should cover most compliance needs until a built-in feature is available.
Watch: feature request from regulated customer signals potential demand for compliance-focused tools; worth tracking if other customers ask.

Right now we can see who's granted access to datasets in Snowflake, but for an audit we need to track which roles actually accessed what data, and when. Since we're a BaFin-regulated payment processor, we need clean documentation of access patterns by role for our regular reviews. Is this something the brain could provide? Jonas

In the meantime, your Snowflake audit logs should show access at the query level since the brain runs in your account. That might cover most of what you need for compliance until we have a built-in feature. Give that a try and let me know how you get on. Cheers, Olivia
