What this says
Current to 12 Oct 26About a dozen account records appeared as duplicates after an overnight sync; source data was clean, so duplication occurred during transformation or connector ingestion.
Problem: Tariq spotted duplicate records in the brain where each source record from the branch system was being ingested twice. Handling: Olivia asked for scope and root-cause detail; Tariq confirmed roughly a dozen affected records and identified that the connector was picking up two copies of each source record. Watch: The evidence does not show whether the root cause was resolved or the fix committed; investigation appeared to be ongoing.

I've checked the connector load log and the source data looks clean, so the duplication is happening somewhere in the transformation. I've spot-checked the mappings and they look correct, but I wanted to flag this before it cascades further. Can you investigate which rule might be causing this?
- public_reply · Olivia Grant 24 Jul 2025 18:33Thanks, Tariq. Just so I've got this right, the duplicates are new as of last night's run? I'll pull the sync logs and trace where they're being created. Can you tell me roughly how many records are affected and whether they're duplicates of the same source record or different records?
- public_reply · Tariq Saleem 28 Jul 2025 15:01Yes, they appeared after last night's sync. About a dozen affected records. Looking at the details, it looks like each source record from the branch system is being ingested twice, the connector is picking up two copies of the same record each time. I've cross-checked against the source and it's only there once.
