- created · Paul Rigby 12 May 2026 12:44Hi there, I need to get the dashboards I've built out of the brain so I can share them with the team. The repairs stand-ups are at 08:00 and I need something I can pull off each morning and send round to people who don't have access. What are the export options?
- public_reply · Olivia Grant 12 May 2026 16:56Hi Paul, thanks for getting in touch. Just so I've got this right: you want to export the dashboards you've created to a format you can send to colleagues? I can help with that. A couple of quick questions: what format would work best, PDF or something else? And do you need the latest data from this morning, or is a snapshot okay?
- public_reply · Paul Rigby 14 May 2026 14:11PDF would be best. They're for the morning stand-up so ideally I need the latest data. Can we do this automatically each day or do I have to do it manually?
- public_reply · Olivia Grant 15 May 2026 09:52Good question. You can export any dashboard manually as a PDF from the view itself, which takes a couple of minutes. For a fully automated daily export, we'd need to look at running a query against Snowflake to pull the data and generate the file. That's more involved. Have you used the dashboards builder much yet? There might be something built in there that could help.
- public_reply · Paul Rigby 18 May 2026 14:16We're not using much of the dashboards builder yet but we could learn it. If there's a way to export from there without having to write SQL queries, that sounds like the better option. What do I need to do?
