Current to 10 Oct 26Liam Doherty requested role-based account views so each of Brackwell's depot managers sees only their own customers and exceptions. Callie Brennan mapped this to an implementation task: get manager names and assignments, build depot-scoped views, test them, and brief teams.
Problem: Liam wants to roll out the brain to depot managers at multiple Brackwell sites, each needing to see only their own customer base and exceptions. Currently any manager would see all customer data across all depots.
Handling: Callie identified this as a standard customization for the Growth tier. She outlined the implementation plan: collect manager names and assignments, build depot-scoped views, test the views on 12 Feb 2024 with sample data, then go live on the refresh cycle. She offered to prepare briefing notes and hold a call with managers.
Watch: Role-based access is critical for multi-team adoption. If views not set up correctly, depot managers may not engage with the brain.

The key thing is, each depot's a bit different – Warrington's got different retail customers to Trafford, for instance. Here's what would help us most: can we set up the account view so each depot manager sees only their own stuff? That way Dean in Warrington sees Warrington customers and exceptions, not everything. One view per depot, that's the point. What do we need from our side to make that happen? And once it's live, how should we brief the teams? Cheers, Liam
- public_reply · Callie Brennan 7 Feb 2024 19:02Hi Liam, Great - and yes, that maps cleanly to what we can do. Having each depot see only their own customers and exceptions is perfect. What I need from your side is: 1. The names and depot assignments for each manager who's getting access 2. A brief list of the main exception types each depot handles Once I have those, here's the plan: Before we switch on the refresh to everyone, I'll map out the views to match your depot structure - Warrington with its customers, Trafford with theirs, and so on. I'll test it on 12 Feb 2024 with a sample data run. If that looks right, the views go live on refresh. For briefing the teams, I can prep a short setup note and we can schedule a call with you and the managers if that helps. Can you send me the mapping and exception types by end of the week? Thanks, Callie
