What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Esther Quaye admitted usage had dipped and asked for half an hour. Nigel Ferris replied that he is unsure the team uses the 40 licences at £40k a year and needs to see it earning its keep before renewing.
Ask: Esther wanted to discuss the usage dip openly and learn what would make the brain more useful day to day. She offered to include Zoe.
Customer view: Nigel questions value, not service. He wants a call early next week and a clear bottom line.
Next: this is a value-risk signal on the Growth renewal ending 21 Nov 2025, and BB-Demo needs a concrete value case.

- Esther Quaye 29 Aug 2025 16:15Dear Nigel, Thank you for your time on our recent call. Just so we're aligned, your Growth subscription runs to 21 Nov 2025, so the renewal conversation needs to start soon. I'd like to be open with you. Usage from the account executives and the claims team has dipped over the last quarter, and I would rather we talk about that properly than let the renewal arrive as a surprise. I've logged what Zoe told me about the team being stretched, and I'd like to understand what would make the brain more useful to your people day to day. Could we find half an hour in the next couple of weeks, by phone or in person, whichever you prefer? Zoe is welcome to join if that helps. Many thanks, Esther
- Nigel Ferris 3 Sep 2025 15:07Esther, Thanks for your note. Happy to talk, but give me a ring rather than send long emails, I'm out of the office a good deal. I'll be straight with you: what's the bottom line? I have £39,600 a year going out for 40 licences and I'm not sure the team is making use of them. The clients come first and I need to see it earning its keep before I put my name to another year. Let's speak early next week if you can. Regards, Nigel
