Current to 11 Oct 26Saskia Mendes told Daniel Okafor the customer will not continue past the end of term and asked for the client pages to stay up read-only for another month. Daniel had no answer by 3 Jul 2026.
Ask: Saskia confirms service ends at the term end and asks for a month of read-only client pages so Jess Ferrand can run client reviews. She chased on 3 Jul 2026 for a yes or no.
Customer view: warm about the team and says the directors got real use out of it, but the decision not to continue is stated as settled.
Next: Daniel said on 2 Jul 2026 that he cannot promise an extension alone and has asked internally. No answer is shown in the thread.

- Saskia Mendes 30 Jun 2026 13:52Hi Daniel, A quick note from me and Jess, who I've copied in. First, thank you. You and the team have been generous with your time since we went live, and the directors did get real use out of it. I want that said plainly before anything else. As we discussed, we won't be continuing past the end of the term, so service ends this Thursday. I know that's not the email you were hoping for. One ask, which is really Jess's. She has client reviews coming up and has been leaning on the client pages. Can they stay up for another month, even in a read-only state, so she isn't rebuilding everything by hand mid-review? If that's not something you can do, just tell us straight and we'll plan around it. Best, Saskia
- Daniel Okafor 2 Jul 2026 08:35Hi Saskia, hi Jess, Thank you both for the kind words, they mean a lot. Working with the team at Delancey Haig has been a real pleasure, and I'm sorry we couldn't make it stick for the longer term. On the client pages: I understand why it matters, particularly with reviews coming up. Today is the last day of the term, and extending access beyond it is not something I can promise on my own. I've asked internally and I'll come back to you as soon as I have a clear answer, rather than guess at it now. In the meantime, Jess, if there is anything on those pages you would like to capture before the end of today, tell me which clients and I'll help you get it out. I'll be in touch again shortly. Best wishes, Daniel
- Saskia Mendes 3 Jul 2026 11:45Daniel, Thanks for the quick reply yesterday and for the offer on pulling things out. Jess took you up on it in spirit, she saved what she could before the end of the day. We're still keen on that month if it can be done. It would make the reviews much simpler for the directors, and honestly it would save Jess a lot of rework. If the answer is no, that's fine, we just need to know so she can plan. What did the client actually say is the question she gets every time, and she'd like to be able to answer it from the page. Best, Saskia
