What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Saskia Mendes, Head of Client Operations, agreed to a one-hour QBR and said plainly that adoption is not where it should be. She wants real client examples she can take to the directors.
Ask: Daniel Okafor wanted to book the next quarterly business review before the contract ends on 2 Jul 2026. Saskia asked for an hour with one director and someone from finance.
Customer view: she says a handful use the brain properly and most directors have drifted back to spreadsheets. She wants evidence, not usage charts.
Next: Daniel committed to offer slots by Friday and to build the review on examples from Delancey Haig's own accounts.

- Daniel Okafor 27 May 2026 13:18Hello Saskia, Thank you for your time on our call earlier. Just to close the loop on what we agreed: we would like to book your next quarterly business review, and with the contract running to 2 Jul 2026 it feels sensible to do it soon rather than leave it. I would like the review to cover how the team is finding it day to day, which client-account directors are using the brain before their client reviews, and which of the 40 licensed users are actually getting value from it. I suspect the honest picture is that fewer people are in there than either of us would like, and I would rather we looked at that together and worked out what would change it. Could you let me know which days suit you and who else you would want in the room? I'll come back to you by Friday with a couple of slots based on your answer. Best wishes, Daniel
- Saskia Mendes 28 May 2026 09:43Daniel, Thanks for sending this over. Straight answer: you are right, adoption is not where it should be. A handful of us use it properly and most of the directors have drifted back to their old spreadsheets. I'm not going to pretend otherwise. What I need from the review is something I can take to the directors. What did the client actually say, and what would they have seen if they had looked in the brain first? If you can pull two or three examples from our own accounts, that will do more than any slide about usage. Days are easier early in the week. Can we make it simpler and keep it to an hour, with me, one of the directors and someone from finance? Best, Saskia
- Daniel Okafor 28 May 2026 11:03Hello Saskia, Thank you, that is very helpful, and I appreciate you being so direct about it. An hour with you, one director and someone from finance is fine. I will build the review around real client examples from your own data rather than usage charts, so the directors can see what they were missing before a client review. I will also set out what we could do to make it easier for them to pick it up, as you asked. I'll come back to you by Friday with a couple of slots early next week. If it would help, tell me which director you would like to bring and I'll tailor the examples to their clients. Best wishes, Daniel
