Current to 11 Oct 26Rupert Lasker would not commit and asked what Delancey Haig actually uses and the annual cost. Daniel Okafor gave £44k for 40 licensed users and admitted active use is a fraction of seats. No reply after 15 Apr 2026.
Ask: Rupert wanted usage and cost in front of him before meeting, and a short conversation.
Customer view: guarded and cost-led. Daniel openly raised whether the licence count is right, which puts the seat count in play.
Next: Daniel offered Tuesday or Thursday and said he would chase by Friday. The thread holds no customer response after his 15 Apr 2026 message.

- Daniel Okafor 10 Apr 2026 14:33Dear Rupert, I hope the week has been kind to you. Just to open the loop on something that is coming up: Delancey Haig's Growth subscription runs to 2 Jul 2026, and I would like to find half an hour with you before then to talk about how the last year has gone and what you would want from the next one. I would also like Saskia to join if her diary allows, as she knows the day-to-day use better than anyone. I will bring a short summary of how the team has been using the brain, so you have something concrete in front of you rather than my impressions. Could you let me know which days suit you over the next couple of weeks? I will work around you. Best wishes, Daniel
- Rupert Lasker 10 Apr 2026 16:57Daniel, Thanks. Happy to talk, but I will be straight with you: I am not in a position to commit to anything. Before we meet, what are we actually using? And remind me of the annual cost, I would rather have it in front of me than go looking. Saskia can join if she wants to. Can we keep it short? Rupert
- Daniel Okafor 15 Apr 2026 16:05Dear Rupert, Apologies for the gap since your note, I wanted to pull the figures together properly before replying. On cost: the Growth subscription is £44,000 a year, which covers up to 40 licensed users and the connectors in your order form. That is the contracted figure, and it is what we have invoiced. On use: I will not dress it up. The number of people active in a typical month is a fraction of the seats you hold, and I would rather we looked at that together than have you find it in a report later. I would like to show you who is asking questions, which client views the directors come back to, and where the gaps are. I think that gives us an honest basis for deciding what the next year should look like, including whether the licence count is right. I will keep it to half an hour. I could do Tuesday or Thursday next week, whichever is easier for you, and I will confirm a time as soon as you say which. I'll come back to you by Friday if I have not heard, just to close the loop. Best wishes, Daniel
