What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Saskia Mendes agreed to a check-in and said plainly that adoption is not where she said it would be at signing. She wants fewer pages and clearer answers, and prefers six weekly users to forty unused logins.
Ask: Daniel Okafor asked for a 40-minute check-in on how directors use the brain before a client review. Saskia asked him to bring the usage picture.
Customer view: she owns the adoption gap and wants a simpler brain built around what the client said and what the firm owes them.
Next: Tuesday morning before eleven, with two directors joining for the second half.

- Daniel Okafor 21 Jan 2026 10:12Hi Saskia, I hope the year has started well for you and the team. Just to follow up on my note before Christmas: I would like to get a proper check-in in the diary. I know January is busy for a recruitment group, so I am happy to work around you. Forty minutes would be plenty, and I would be glad to include one or two of the client-account directors if you think that would help. I would like us to look at how the directors are using the brain day to day, and what would make it more useful before a client review. I have a few ideas, but I would rather hear what you are seeing first. Could you let me know a day next week that suits? I can do mornings most days. Best wishes, Daniel
- Saskia Mendes 23 Jan 2026 10:56Hi Daniel, Sorry, that took longer than a day. It has been a manic fortnight. Yes, let's do it. Tuesday morning next week works for me, any time before eleven. Please do bring the usage picture, because I want to be straight with you: adoption is not where I said it would be when we signed. A few directors tried it, liked it, and then drifted back to their old habits. That is on me as much as anyone. What I need is for the directors to walk into a review with the facts, without hunting for them. Can we make it simpler? Fewer pages, clearer answers. I would rather have six people using it every week than forty with a login they never touch. I will ask two of the directors to join for the second half. What did the client actually say, and what do we owe them: that is the question they care about, so let's build around it. Best, Saskia
