What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26After the QBR, CFO Rupert Lasker said idle licences mean paying for something unused. He wants plain figures on use and savings, confirmation of the annual cost, and asked whether they could do this themselves.
Ask: Rupert wants to see what is used and what it has saved, and asked Daniel to confirm the annual cost against the order form.
Customer view: he has £44k in mind and asks whether they "could do this ourselves with what we already have", which is a do-it-yourself challenge.
Next: Daniel to send the usage view before the review and check the cost against the executed order form.

- Daniel Okafor 5 Sep 2025 13:02Hello all, Thank you for making the time earlier in the week. I wanted to put a short note in writing so we all have the same picture. What I heard: the brain is still valued by the people who use it, but fewer of the directors are reaching for it than when we went live, and a number of the 40 licences are sitting idle. Saskia is keen to bring more of the directors back in, and Holly has offered to look at which of the connected sources the directors actually care about. What I would suggest as next steps: - I will pull together a simple view of who has been asking questions and about what, so we are working from facts rather than impressions. - Holly and I will check that each connected system is loading as it should. - We then use the QBR to agree which two or three questions each director should be able to answer in under a minute. Priya is copied as she looks after the commercial side of the account, and I have kept her in the loop so nothing falls between us. I will come back to you with the usage view before the review. Please do tell me if I have missed anything. Best wishes, Daniel
- Rupert Lasker 8 Sep 2025 09:29Daniel, Thanks for the note. It is helpful that you have been candid. My concern is simple. If a good part of the licences are idle, we are paying for something we are not using. Before the review I would like to see, in plain terms, what we are actually using and what it has saved us. Can you also remind me of the annual cost? I have £44,000 in my head but want to confirm it against the order form, and whether we could do this ourselves with what we already have. Rupert
