Daniel Okafor asked for a check-in after the new year and noted quieter holiday usage. Saskia Mendes agreed to the second week back and asked for a pointer on reading the complaints view, which some directors found unclear.

Ask: Saskia wants a quick explanation of what the client actually said in the complaints view when it flagged something. A couple of directors were unsure how to read it.

Customer view: She explains the quiet usage as holiday absence, and is engaged enough to set the timing.

Next: Meet on a Tuesday or Wednesday morning in the second week back, so the directors are present and usage is a proper picture.

Hi Saskia, I hope you have had a restful few days. I'm writing late in the day, so no need to reply before the break, but I wanted to get the check-in we talked about into your diary. I've been looking at usage over the last few weeks and it has been quieter, which is what I would expect around the holidays. I'm not worried, but it would be good to see it pick up again in January and to hear whether anything has got in the way for the directors. Could you suggest a half hour in the first couple of weeks back? I'll work around you. I'll come back to you by the end of the week if I haven't heard, just to keep it moving. Best wishes, Daniel

Hi Daniel, Happy new year, nearly! You are right, the office has been a ghost town and most of the directors are away until the week after next. Let's aim for the second week back, a Tuesday or Wednesday morning. That way the directors are in and we can see a proper picture rather than a holiday one. One thing I'd like to cover: what did the client actually say, in the complaints view, when it flagged something last month? A couple of directors were not sure how to read it, so a quick pointer would help.
