What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Rupert Lasker, the CFO, called the £54k deal value a lot to take in and asked for the annual cost without implementation and what could be done with existing reporting. He said he was not saying no.
Ask: Rupert wants a like-for-like annual figure and a clear account of day-one use against reporting Delancey Haig already has.
Customer view: a price and value challenge, not a refusal. Priya Raman replied that £54k is the total deal value including the one-off implementation fee, and promised a one-page breakdown.
Next: Priya has asked Saskia Mendes for the directors' top uses to answer Rupert's second question.

- Priya Raman 16 May 2024 17:41Hi Saskia, hi Rupert, Thanks both for your time on the call. As promised, here is where we are and what happens next. The proposal is for the Growth tier, so that the client-account directors can see each client's vacancies, placements, invoices and complaints together in one place, built on your own data. The total value of the deal is £53,800. That is the whole deal, so it includes the one-off implementation fee as well as the subscription. The order form splits the two out clearly. Saskia, you mentioned the directors need this before their next round of client reviews, so I would suggest we agree a start date as early as we can. Rupert, I know you want to be sure it earns its keep, so I am happy to make this easy: I can walk your finance team through exactly what is included and what is not. If we can get this over the line by 19 Jun 2024, we keep momentum and the directors have it in good time. Could you let me know by early next week whether the proposal as it stands covers everything you need, or whether anything needs adjusting? Best, Priya Priya Raman Account Executive, BB-Demo
- Rupert Lasker 17 May 2024 09:08Priya, Thank you for this. Two things before I take it any further. First, the £53,800 is a lot to take in one go. Remind me of the annual cost once the implementation is taken out? I would rather compare like with like against what we spend today. Second, what are we actually using out of this on day one, and what could we do ourselves with the reporting we already have? I am not saying no, I just need the numbers to make sense. Rupert
- Priya Raman 17 May 2024 10:13Hi Rupert, hi Saskia, Fair questions, Rupert, and thanks for the quick reply. On the first: the £53,800 is the total deal value, including the one-off implementation fee. I will send you a one-page breakdown that shows the implementation and the annual subscription separately, so you can see the annual cost on its own and compare it with what you spend today. On the second: Saskia is best placed to say what the directors would open on day one, so Saskia, could you give Rupert your top few uses? I think that answers his question about what you are actually using better than I can. I can then set that against what your existing reporting gives you today, and be straightforward where it already does the job. Happy to get on a short call with both of you if that is easier than going back and forth by email. Best, Priya
