Current to 11 Oct 26Laura Penhaligon proposed two short training sessions for northern branches. Neil Ashworth agreed, wants the first folded into the monthly regional managers' call, and said key-account users already find it saves chasing credit control.
Ask: Laura proposed one session for branch managers and deputies, and a deeper one for key-account people, each about an hour online.
Customer view: Neil backs two sessions and says some key-account people are already using the brain and valued it for disputed invoices. He added "Good to see people actually interested, for once."
Next: Neil sends names and dates by the end of the week; Laura should be ready to carry on separately after the call.

- Laura Penhaligon 7 May 2025 09:14Hi Neil, It was good to speak earlier in the week, and thank you for being so open about how your branch managers actually work day to day. That was very helpful. Following on from that, I'd like to set up training for the northern branches. My suggestion is two short sessions rather than one long one: - A first session for branch managers and their deputies, focused on looking up a trade account and seeing its orders, disputes, calls and invoices together. - A second session for the key-account people, which goes a bit deeper into asking the brain questions across accounts. I would keep each one to about an hour, run online, so nobody has to travel. If it would be easier to fold the first one into an existing regional meeting, I'm happy to do that instead. Could you tell me which weeks suit your region best, and who you'd like to be there? A rough list of names is plenty for now. Best wishes, Laura Laura Penhaligon Implementation Consultant, BB-Demo
- Neil Ashworth 7 May 2025 11:39Laura, Thanks for this. Two sessions sounds right to me. Branch managers will not sit through more than an hour, so keep it tight. I would rather fold the first one into our regional managers' call than ask people to find another slot. That call runs monthly and I can give you ten minutes at the start, but I'd want you to be ready to carry on in a separate session for anyone who wants more. For the key-account people, I'll put names together this week. There are a few who have already been poking about in it and keep telling me it saves them chasing credit control for the story on a disputed invoice. I'd like them in the room, as they will help the others. I'll come back to you with dates by the end of the week. Good to see people actually interested, for once. Regards, Neil
