Current to 11 Oct 26Daniel Okafor gave formal notice that the Growth subscription renews on 30 Nov 2026. Stuart Kenyon asked what it saves and said he is not keen to pay if the team is not using it. Daniel promised a one-page value summary.
Ask: Stuart, the Managing Director, wants it kept simple: "What does it save us?" He will not pay for the brain "just because it is there" if the team is not using it.
Customer view: sceptical on value, not on price. Daniel was open that usage dipped over the summer, and the thread gives a contracted annual figure of £51,000 for 60 licensed users.
Next: Daniel will speak with day-to-day users and send Stuart one page on use, savings and gaps. Tom Ashdown will then talk through renewal options, including whether the set-up is the right size, aiming to settle by 9 Nov 2026.

- Daniel Okafor 1 Sep 2026 13:54Dear Stuart, I hope you are well. Just a short note from me, with Tom copied in, to let you know that your Growth subscription comes up for renewal on 30 Nov 2026. This is our formal notice, so that nothing sneaks up on you. At the moment you have 60 licensed users and the contracted annual figure is £51,000. Tom and I would like to sit down with you and the team before anything is drawn up, to look at how the brain is being used and what you would want from the next year. I should be honest that usage has dipped over the summer, and I would rather we talk about that openly than have it sit in the background. How is the team finding it? I'll come back to you by the end of the week with a couple of times that might suit. Best wishes, Daniel
- Stuart Kenyon 1 Sep 2026 15:17Daniel, Thanks for the heads up. Keep it simple. What does it save us? If the team are not using it I am not keen on paying for it just because it is there. Talk to the people who use it day to day and tell me straight what you find. I will have a look when you come back with something short. Stuart
- Daniel Okafor 4 Sep 2026 13:16Dear Stuart, Just to close the loop on your note. That is a fair question and I think it deserves a straight answer. Here is what I would suggest. I will speak with Nathan and a few of the people who use the brain, and put together one page: what it is being used for, what it has saved, and where it has not earned its place. If there is a gap, I would rather we see it now than in November. Tom will then talk you through the options for the renewal, including whether the current set-up is still the right size. We are aiming to have it settled by 9 Nov 2026, which leaves plenty of room. I'll send the one page over as soon as it is ready. Best wishes, Daniel
