Current to 11 Oct 26Helen Marsden, Head of Business Intelligence, confirms her team's use has fallen as reporting is rebuilt on the in-house platform. She points Daniel Okafor to the data director for contract matters and wants board pack figures kept traceable.
Customer view: usage is down because priorities moved to the in-house platform and some heavy users were reassigned. She says this is not due to BB-Demo or its support.
Ask: she cannot speak for the contract and sends Daniel to the director who owns data strategy. She wants a short call to keep board pack figures traceable.

- Daniel Okafor 2 Jul 2026 10:41Dear Helen, I hope you and the team are well. Just to close the loop on where we left things, I'd like to find half an hour for a check-in over the next week or so. I've noticed that activity on your side has been quieter over the last few months, and I would rather hear how the team is finding it directly from you than guess from the charts. If there are things that are not working, or people who have moved on to other priorities, I'd like to understand that. With the contract coming up to its end on 1 Sep 2026, it also seems sensible for us to talk about what you would want from the next few weeks, whatever the longer-term direction is. Could you let me know a day that suits? I'll come back to you by the end of the day with a time and send an invite. Best wishes, Daniel
- Helen Marsden 2 Jul 2026 12:27Hi Daniel, Thank you for writing, and for asking rather than assuming. I will be straight with you. My team's use of the brain has fallen, and it is not because of anything you or the support team have done. Our priorities have shifted towards the in-house platform, and a good deal of the reporting that used to come from the brain is being rebuilt there. A few people who relied on it most have been moved onto that work. I can speak for how my team uses the product, but I cannot speak for decisions that are not mine. The director who owns our data strategy is the person who can tell you where things stand on the contract, and I would suggest you ask for that conversation with them directly. I would rather not put words in their mouth. I am happy to have a half hour with you in any case. Early next week suits me, in the morning if possible. I would like to talk about how we keep the board pack figures traceable while things change, as the board will ask. Kind regards, Helen
