What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Hollie Grieve asks for time to discuss the term ending 1 Sep 2026. Craig Oduya says the arrangement is under review against an in-house build on Microsoft, gives no decision either way, and wants to know what happens to data and configuration.
Ask: Craig wants clarity on exit: what happens to the data and configuration if Calderbrook steps away, and how long it takes.
Customer view: the capability is being built in-house on the existing Microsoft estate. He is explicit that he is not signalling a decision.
Next: Hollie promises a written exit summary and offers Monday at 10:00 or Tuesday at 14:30. She also notes usage has been quieter.

- Hollie Grieve 18 Jun 2026 09:37Hi Craig, Thank you for making time on the recent call. I wanted to follow up on one practical point: your agreement runs to 1 Sep 2026, so we should find a slot to talk about what happens next. I would suggest 30 minutes, either by video or at your offices in Leeds if that suits you better. I would like to cover how the team is using the brain at the moment, what you need from us between now and the end of the term, and anything you would like me to prepare in advance. Usage has been quieter over the last few months, so I would rather we talked it through openly than let the date arrive without a conversation. Could you let me know a couple of days that work for you in the next fortnight? Kind regards, Hollie Grieve Customer Success Manager, BB-Demo
- Craig Oduya 18 Jun 2026 12:02Hollie, Thanks for the note. Happy to speak. To be clear on where we are: the arrangement is being reviewed against the platform strategy. We're building that capability in-house, on our existing Microsoft estate. I don't want to give you the impression of a decision either way on the renewal. What I need from the conversation is clarity. What's our exit position? Specifically, what happens to the data and the configuration if we step away at the end of the term, and how long would that take? If you can come with that, 30 minutes is enough. Early next week suits me better than later. Craig Oduya, Director of Digital and Data
- Hollie Grieve 18 Jun 2026 14:41Hi Craig, That is helpful, thank you, and a fair question to ask. The short version is that the brain runs inside your own Snowflake account, so the data and the tables built on it sit with Calderbrook rather than with us. I will put together a plain written summary of what that means in practice for an exit: what stays with you, what is switched off, and the sequence and timing. I would rather you had it in front of you than rely on my memory in the meeting. How does Monday at 10:00 or Tuesday at 14:30 look? If neither works, send me whatever suits and I will fit around you. I will not take the conversation as anything other than information gathering on your side. Best, Hollie
