What this says
Current to 10 Oct 26Imogen Hartley, Head of Data, writes on her last day, 30 Jan 2026, praising the brain and warning that day-to-day ownership is the open question. Daniel Okafor promises to contact Douglas and get a named owner.
Customer view: Imogen says the scheme-relationship managers use the brain without thinking about it. She has left Douglas a handover note naming Daniel as the person to call.
Risk: Her real concern is who owns it day to day once she has gone. The evidence does not show who that is.
Next: Daniel will contact Douglas next week and make sure someone is named as BB-Demo's counterpart.

- Imogen Hartley 30 Jan 2026 14:32Daniel, A short note before I close the laptop for the last time. Today is my final day at Lornefield, and I did not want to leave without thanking you properly. You were there at the start, when the brain was a rough idea and we were all a bit unsure what we were asking for. Three years on, the scheme-relationship managers use it without thinking about it, which is the best thing I can say about any tool. I've seen this work, and I'm glad I got to see it work here. I've left Douglas a handover note and told him you are the person to call. The real question for whoever picks it up is who owns it day to day, so please keep an eye on that. Let's stay in touch. Best, Imogen
- Daniel Okafor 30 Jan 2026 15:22Imogen, Thank you for this, it means a great deal. I'm sorry to see you go from the account, though I'm not at all surprised that you have somewhere good to be. You were the reason the design partner work was so enjoyable. You pushed us when we needed pushing and you were always straight with me, which is rarer than it should be. Just to close the loop on the handover: I'll get in touch with Douglas next week and ask how the team is finding it day to day, and I'll make sure someone is named as the person we work with. You don't need to worry about that. Please keep in touch. I'd like to hear how the next chapter goes. Best wishes, Daniel
