What this says
Current to 10 Oct 26Rob Ellery says the team stopped using the brain after moving to Salesforce and asks what they would be paying for. Marcus Bell confirmed usage has dropped and proposed checking connectors before the contract ends on 3 Jan 2027.
Ask: Rob wants to know what the renewal buys and what the options are before the contract runs out. He says price is not the main issue.
Customer view: Nobody has had time to sort the brain after the CRM change, and he does not want to sign something unused.
Next: Marcus proposed reviewing which connectors still load, deciding together whether repointing is worthwhile, and bringing in Tom on renewal terms. No customer reply yet.

- Rob Ellery 5 Oct 2026 13:09Marcus, Got the renewal notice. To be straight with you, the price going up isn't the main thing. The team stopped using the brain after we moved over to Salesforce, and I couldn't tell you the last time anyone properly logged in. The team's flat out and nobody has had the time to sort it. What would we be paying for? I'm not trying to be difficult, I just don't want to sign something we don't use. What are our options before the contract runs out? Rob
- Marcus Bell 8 Oct 2026 12:44Hi Rob, Thanks for being straight with me, that's useful. I've pulled the numbers and they match what you're saying. Use has dropped off over the last quarter and it's down to about one person logging in regularly. What I'd suggest: - I look at what is still connected since the Salesforce move and what has stopped loading - we work out together whether pointing it at the new setup would be worth your team's time, or whether it wouldn't - I ask Tom to get in touch about the renewal terms, as that side is his Your contract runs to 3 Jan 2027, so there is time to decide properly rather than in a rush. Happy to jump on a call whenever suits you. Shall we book half an hour? Nothing to prepare on your side. Thanks, Marcus
