A stale-dashboard ticket was traced to one slow connected source delaying the overnight refresh. Bethan Lister reproduced it, gave Callum Reid a note for the capacity providers, and he confirmed 07:00 views were right and said to close it.

Issue: on 3 Oct 2025 the submissions and bordereaux views were behind at 07:00. Bethan reproduced the delay on 6 Oct 2025 and attributed it to one source returning data late.

Customer view: Callum wanted an explanation he could pass on, and the written note met that. He confirmed on 7 Oct 2025 that both mornings were correct.

Risk: Bethan gave no date for a permanent change, so the cause is watched, not fixed.

Hi Callum, I've picked up your ticket this morning. Just so I've got this right: the submissions view on your dashboards was still showing the previous day's figures when your team logged in, and the bordereaux queries panel looked the same. I can see the nightly refresh ran, but I want to reproduce what you saw before I say anything about cause. Can you try this and tell me what you see? First, reload the submissions dashboard and check the "last updated" stamp in the top corner. Second, run one search for a submission you know came in yesterday afternoon and tell me whether it appears. If you can paste the exact wording of anything that looks wrong, that helps me a lot. Thanks, Bethan

Bethan, Done both. Stamp now shows this morning, and the submission from yesterday afternoon is there. So it looks right now. It wasn't at 07:00 when my underwriters needed it. What I need is a straight explanation I can pass to the capacity providers if they ask why the view was behind. By when can I have that? Callum

Hi Callum, Thanks for the quick turnaround on Friday. I've now reproduced the delay on our side: one of your connected sources was slow to hand over its data in the early hours, so the refresh for that source finished later than the rest. That is what left the submissions view behind at 07:00. I've written it up in plain terms below so you can lift it straight into a note. "One source connected to the brain returned its data late during the overnight refresh. Other sources completed on time. The delay has been reproduced and is being watched by the B-Brain support team." I'm not going to promise you a date for a permanent change, because I'd rather not give you a number I can't stand behind. What I can tell you is that this morning's refresh finished ahead of 07:00 and I'll keep checking it each business day this week. Can you tell me what your team sees tomorrow first thing? I'd like to hear it works before I close the ticket. Thanks, Bethan

Bethan, Confirmed. Dashboards were right at 07:00 both mornings, nothing behind, and my team have stopped asking. The note was what I needed and I've sent it on. You can close it. If it slips again I'll come straight back to you. Callum
