What this says
Current to 10 Oct 26Callum Reid agreed to an hour-long quarterly review next week, on Tuesday afternoon or Thursday morning. He wants the numbers, not a slide deck, and an agenda the day before. He says the team is happy.
Ask: Callum wants an hour with the numbers and an agenda the day before. He will bring a senior underwriter and the person who deals with bordereaux queries.
Customer view: the team is happy. His focus is the questions capacity providers ask most and how quickly the brain answers them, which is what he is judged on.
Next: Daniel Okafor confirms which slot he can hold.

- Daniel Okafor 5 Feb 2025 10:37Hi Callum, Thank you for your time on the last call. Just to close the loop on the next step: I would like to get our quarterly review in the diary, and I wanted to check with you first about who should be in the room. My suggestion is a session of about an hour, mostly looking at how the team is using the brain day to day, where it has taken work off your underwriters, and what you would like it to do next. Usage across the team has been moving in the right direction since the autumn, and I would like you to see that for yourself rather than just take my word for it. Could you let me know which days suit you next week or the week after? If there is anyone from your side, a colleague on the bordereaux team for instance, who should join, tell me and I will make sure the material covers their questions too. How is the team finding it generally? I would be glad to hear anything you want me to pick up before we meet. Best wishes, Daniel
- Callum Reid 7 Feb 2025 11:42Daniel, What I need is an hour with the numbers in front of us, not a slide deck. Next week works. Tuesday afternoon or Thursday morning, either is fine. Tell me which you can hold. I will bring one of the senior underwriters and the person who deals with bordereaux queries. Team is happy with it. The thing I want to see is the questions the capacity providers ask us most, and how quickly we can answer them from the brain. That's a capacity-provider question at the end of the day, and it is what I get judged on. Please send an agenda the day before.
