Current to 10 Oct 26Callum Reid confirmed Daniel Okafor's notes with two corrections: the spreadsheet fallback is the marine cargo desk, and the capacity-provider oversight dashboard is not optional. He asks by when a first version can be shown.
Customer view: adoption is uneven. Marine cargo still uses spreadsheets while professional indemnity uses the brain properly, and Callum will deal with the desk heads himself.
Ask: he wants the dashboard to answer the same three provider questions each quarter without a hand-built pack, and wants a date.
Next: Daniel owes the usage list, a date for a first dashboard version, and the ticket closed. The contract runs to 30 Jun 2025.

- Daniel Okafor 27 Jan 2025 11:22Hi Callum, Thank you again for making the time last week. Here are my notes from the check-in, just to close the loop while it is fresh. What I heard: - The brain is giving your team one view of submissions, bordereaux queries and claims tickets, and that is what you wanted when you brought it in. - Fewer people are logging in than you would like. You think a few of the underwriters still go back to the old spreadsheets when they are up against a deadline. - The one open ticket is a how-to question, and you are not worried about it. - Capacity providers are still asking for oversight views you would like in a single dashboard. What I will do: - Send you a short list of who is using the brain and who has not logged in recently, so you can decide who needs a nudge. - Come back to you by the end of the week with how we could build the oversight dashboard you described. - Look at the ticket myself so it does not sit. Our contract runs to 30 Jun 2025, so there is time to get this right before we talk about what comes next. Please correct anything I have got wrong. How is the team finding it since we spoke? Best wishes, Daniel
- Callum Reid 28 Jan 2025 16:51Daniel, Notes are fair, two corrections. First, it isn't a few underwriters on the spreadsheets. It's the marine cargo desk, mainly. Professional indemnity are using it properly. Don't tar them with the same brush. Second, the dashboard isn't optional. The providers ask the same three things every quarter and I want them answered without anyone building a pack by hand. By when can you show me a first version? Usage list is fine, send it. I'll deal with the desk heads. On the ticket, thanks, just get it closed. Callum
