Current to 10 Oct 26Logistical onboarding thread. Callum Reid declines Thursday because of a binder renewal and takes Friday at 10:00, capped at ninety minutes. Callie Brennan flags that no connector starts without written access.
Ask: Callie Brennan wanted a working session on source connections and field mapping before the refresh is switched on. Callum chose Friday at 10:00 and will bring a senior underwriting assistant who handles bordereaux queries.
Customer view: he wants to know what will be in the brain on day one and what will not. Capacity providers keep asking oversight questions and he wants a date when they can be answered from one place.
Next: Callie sends the invite and agenda and asks for the colleague's name and any credential approvals now.

- Callie Brennan 9 Jul 2024 15:35Hi Callum, Thanks for your time on the call. To keep the onboarding moving I'd like to book the working session where we sit down and go through the source connections and the field mapping together, before we switch on the refresh. Two slots that work from my side this week: - Thursday at 14:00 - Friday at 10:00 I'd need about an hour and a half. What I need from your side is one person who knows how submissions and bordereaux queries are recorded in the CRM and the helpdesk, so we map the fields once and get them right. If that person is you, brilliant. If it's someone on your team, please send me their name. Could you let me know which slot suits by tomorrow lunchtime? Then I can send the invite and the agenda with a date against each step. Thanks, Callie
- Callum Reid 10 Jul 2024 17:44Callie, Thursday is out. Half the team is tied up with a binder renewal and I can't pull anyone off it. Friday at 10:00 works. I need to be out by 11:30 at the latest, so ninety minutes is the ceiling, not the target. I'll bring one of my senior underwriting assistants, who handles the bordereaux queries day to day. She knows where the data actually lives, which is not always where the process document says. I'll confirm her name before Friday. What I need from the session is a clear view of what will be in the brain on day one and what won't. Capacity providers keep asking oversight questions and I want to know by when we can answer them from one place. Callum
- Callie Brennan 10 Jul 2024 18:38Hi Callum, Friday at 10:00 it is. I'll send the invite tonight and keep us inside the ninety minutes. Plan for the session, so you can see where the time goes: - First, confirm which sources are connected and which are still waiting on access. - Second, walk through the field mapping for submissions and bordereaux queries, and check that it maps cleanly. - Third, agree what you will see in the brain on the first refresh, and what comes in later. - Last, agree who does what before the following week. One thing to flag: I won't start any connector without written access, so if anyone on your side needs to approve credentials, it's worth asking them now. That is usually the step that slows a first refresh down. Please send your colleague's name when you have it and I'll add her to the invite. Thanks, Callie
