What it says
What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Priya Raman's proposal of 4 Dec 2024 recommends moving from Starter to Growth at an annual price of £44,000, billed annually in advance, ahead of the term end on 8 Feb 2025. It is a proposal, not an order form, and states no service level figures.
What it is: a renewal proposal prepared by Priya Raman, Account Executive, for a Starter customer whose term ends on 8 Feb 2025. It recommends Growth and offers a like-for-like Starter renewal as an alternative.
Commits: nothing binding. It sets out "Annual price | £44,000", "Billing | Annual, in advance" and a twelve month term from the end of the current term. The contracted figure for the current Starter term is stated as £17,550.
Unusual: the table calls £44,000 the "Deal amount" and says there is no separate implementation fee. No discount is mentioned.
Not settled: the stored status is final, but the text is a proposal and the customer's choice of tier is open. The document does not show whether an order form was signed, and the Starter alternative is not priced. Availability, P1 response times and refresh deadlines are described only as "the Growth service levels", with no figures.

Kelvinhaugh Pension Services - Renewal Proposal
Prepared by: Priya Raman, Account Executive, BB-Demo Prepared for: Kelvinhaugh Pension Services, Glasgow Date: 4 Dec 2024 Status: Final
1. Where we are today
Kelvinhaugh Pension Services joined BB-Demo on 9 Feb 2024 on the Starter tier, bringing the scheme-relationship managers onto the company brain. The current term ends on 8 Feb 2025.
| Item | Current position |
|---|---|
| Tier | Starter |
| Contracted annual recurring revenue | £17,550 |
| Licensed users | 15 |
| Term end | 8 Feb 2025 |
| Invoices | Paid on time, nothing overdue |
| Support | No tickets raised in the last month |
The first year has been quiet in the best sense. The brain is stable, invoices are settled and nobody has needed to chase us. Active use has also grown on the previous quarter, which is the direction we want to see ahead of a renewal.
2. What we are proposing
We propose renewing on the Growth tier rather than rolling Starter forward unchanged. Growth is built for several teams working from the same brain, and it is the natural step once a first team is settled, as the scheme-relationship managers now are.

| Line | Detail |
|---|---|
| Deal type | Renewal |
| Tier | Growth |
| Annual price | £44,000 |
| Deal amount | £44,000 |
| Billing | Annual, in advance |
| Term | Twelve months from the end of the current term |
The deal amount is the annual price for the renewal term. There is no separate implementation fee on this proposal.
3. What Growth adds
- The Growth user allowance, which is larger than the Starter allowance, so further teams can be brought in without juggling seats.
- The Growth connector allowance, so more of your administration and finance systems can sit behind the same questions.
- The dashboards builder, so the team can turn the questions it asks most often into views it can share.
- Quarterly business reviews with your customer success manager, in place of the lighter Starter check-in.
- The Growth service levels, including a faster first response on priority issues.
4. Why now
The case for moving up is simple. A single team has proved the brain works on your own data, and the pension schemes you administer are run by several groups who all reconcile the same sources by hand. Bringing them in under one subscription is cheaper and cleaner than adding them piecemeal later.
If Starter is still the right fit for the coming year, we will of course set out a like-for-like renewal as well. Our recommendation is Growth.
5. Next steps
- Review this proposal with the team and let me know whether Growth, or a like-for-like Starter renewal, suits you better.
- Daniel Okafor, your customer success manager, will walk the scheme-relationship managers through the Growth features if that would help the decision.
- We issue the order form once the tier is agreed, so it is signed ahead of the term end on 8 Feb 2025.
Happy to make this easy: a short call is all it takes to confirm the tier and get the paperwork moving, and it keeps momentum going into the new year.
Best, Priya
