What it says
What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Internal draft renewal proposal for the Growth subscription ending 23 Nov 2026, proposing an annual price of £54,000 against the contracted £48,000. Usage has fallen, so the draft flags a value case as needed before any price is presented.
What it is: an internal first draft, prepared 11 Sep 2026 by Matteo Ricci, marked "Draft, for internal review before it goes to the customer". It has not been issued.
Commits: nothing binding yet. It proposes "Annual price | £54,000" on Growth, billed "Annual, in advance", with 50 licensed users and one business hour first response on P1 issues.
Unusual: the increase from the contracted £48,000 comes while usage has softened. The draft says the rise "will need a clear value case, not just a reference to the price book".
Not settled: why activity dropped, the user allowance, how firmly the price can be held, and who at the customer signs off. No customer contact is named and no availability figure is stated.

Body
Brinkerhof Distributie - Renewal Proposal v1
Status: Draft, for internal review before it goes to the customer Prepared: 11 Sep 2026 Prepared by: Matteo Ricci, Account Executive Customer success manager: Elena Novak
1. Purpose
This proposal sets out the renewal of Brinkerhof Distributie's Growth subscription, which ends on 23 Nov 2026. It is a first draft and several points are still open, listed in section 6.
2. Where the account stands
Brinkerhof Distributie has been a customer since 24 Nov 2025. The company is a wholesaler of electrical installation materials serving installers across the southern Netherlands and Flanders. It bought Growth so that account managers can see each installer's orders, delivery complaints and credit queries in one view.
| Item | Current position |
|---|---|
| Tier | Growth |
| Contracted annual recurring revenue | £48,000 |
| Licensed users | 50 |
| Current term ends | 23 Nov 2026 |
| Overdue invoices | None |
| Support tickets in the last 30 days | None |
3. Usage and value
Read the whole document (3,628 characters)
The account is healthy commercially: invoices are paid on time and there are no open support issues. Usage is the concern. The average number of active users over the last 30 days is well below the licensed 50, and it has fallen compared with the prior quarter. The absence of tickets is not necessarily good news here, because a shrinking user base that raises nothing can be a quiet signal rather than a satisfied one.
What the evidence does not yet show is why activity has dropped. It could be seasonal, a change in who uses the brain on the account management side, or a loss of confidence in the data. We should find out before the proposal is sent.
4. Proposed renewal
| Item | Proposal |
|---|---|
| Deal type | Renewal |
| Tier | Growth |
| Annual price | £54,000 |
| Deal amount | £54,000 |
| Licensed users | 50 |
| Billing | Annual, in advance |
The proposed annual price of £54,000 compares with the contracted £48,000 today. Because usage has softened, the increase will need a clear value case, not just a reference to the price book.
5. What Brinkerhof Distributie gets
- The Growth tier across the account management teams, including the dashboards builder and quarterly business reviews.
- The Growth service levels: the standard availability commitment and one business hour first response on P1 issues.
- Continued nightly refresh of the connected sources, complete before the start of the business day.
- Support from Elena Novak as customer success manager and Matteo Ricci for commercial terms.
6. Open points
- Usage decline. Elena Novak to review who has stopped asking questions and which teams are affected, and to bring a short explanation.
- Value case. Agree two or three examples of installer, delivery complaint or credit query work that the brain has made faster, to anchor the price.
- User allowance. Decide whether to keep 50 licensed users or propose a right-sized number if usage does not recover.
- Price position. Confirm internally how firmly the £54,000 can be held if the customer questions value.
- Customer contact. Confirm who on the customer side will receive and sign off the proposal.
7. Next steps
- Elena Novak completes the usage review and shares it with Matteo Ricci this week.
- Matteo Ricci and Elena Novak hold a short customer conversation about how the brain is being used, before any price is presented.
- Update this proposal to version two with the agreed value case and user allowance.
- Send to the customer in good time before the term ends on 23 Nov 2026.
