What it says
What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Draft proposal of 20 Jul 2026 to move Brenneck Pay from Growth to Enterprise at £125k a year, billed annually in advance, no discount. It has not been issued as an offer and leaves scope, term start and implementation fee open.
What it is: an internal draft by Matteo Ricci, Account Executive, marked "Status: Draft" and "has not been issued as an offer". It argues for Enterprise on SSO and SCIM, Premium support, the Sandbox and freshness credits.
Commits: nothing binding yet. It states the price as "£125k" per year at the current list price with "No discount", and "Payment terms follow the standard thirty days". Current Growth is stated as £50k contracted, running to 2 Feb 2027.
Unusual: it names a P1 first response "within thirty minutes", which is the standard Enterprise level, and gives no dates for delivery steps.
Not settled: the implementation fee, which teams join, whether the term starts at upgrade or on 2 Feb 2027, extra connectors, the training day and Brenneck Pay's internal approvals. A revised proposal and an order form under the existing MSA would follow.

Body
Brenneck Pay - Proposal v1
Status: Draft | Prepared by Matteo Ricci, Account Executive, BB-Demo | Date: 20 Jul 2026
This draft proposes moving Brenneck Pay from the Growth tier to Enterprise. It is for discussion and has not been issued as an offer. Several points are marked as open at the end.
Context
Brenneck Pay joined BB-Demo on 3 Feb 2026 on the Growth tier. The purpose was clear from the start: merchant account managers and merchant risk should work from one view of each merchant, with the data held in an EU region, as expected of a payment institution supervised by BaFin.
Since go-live the picture has been encouraging:
- Active use has grown strongly over the last quarter and sits comfortably inside the 40 licensed users.
- There have been no support tickets in the last month, and none of high priority.
- There are no overdue invoices.
- The contracted annual recurring revenue today is £50k under the Growth subscription, which runs to 2 Feb 2027.
The account is healthy. That is exactly the moment to discuss what the next stage looks like, rather than waiting for the renewal conversation.
Why Enterprise
Read the whole document (5,045 characters)
As more teams at Brenneck Pay ask questions of the brain, the needs of a supervised payments business move beyond what Growth is designed for. Enterprise is built for company-wide use and for regulated buyers. For Brenneck Pay it would bring:
- A much larger user and connector allowance, so that teams beyond merchant account management and merchant risk can be brought in without negotiating limits each time.
- SSO and SCIM, so that access follows your identity provider and leavers are removed automatically.
- An executive sponsor at BB-Demo.
- Premium support, with a named engineer working 07:00 to 20:00 UK time, and the Sandbox, so that changes to connectors and data models can be tested before they reach production.
- Stronger service levels: a higher availability commitment than Growth and a P1 first response within thirty minutes.
- Service credits for data freshness as well as availability. Only Enterprise carries this, and it matters when the nightly refresh by 07:00 feeds daily risk decisions.
- Security review support as part of the implementation, which I expect to be useful for your own compliance and outsourcing assessments.
What does your regulator need to see? I would rather we answered that together at the start, so that the security review is shaped around Brenneck Pay's actual obligations and not a generic checklist.
Scope
| Area | Today (Growth) | Proposed (Enterprise) |
|---|---|---|
| Users | 40 licensed users | The Enterprise user allowance |
| Connectors | The Growth connector allowance | The Enterprise connector allowance |
| Data residency | EU region | EU region, retained |
| Single sign-on and provisioning | Not included | SSO and SCIM |
| Support | Growth service level | Premium support, named engineer |
| Test environment | Not included | Sandbox |
| Executive sponsor | Not included | Included |
| Reviews | Quarterly QBRs | Quarterly QBRs, with the executive sponsor |
The existing connectors and the way merchant data is organised stay as they are. The upgrade extends the brain; it does not rebuild it.
Commercials
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Enterprise annual subscription (billed annually in advance) | £125k |
| Total deal value | £125k |
| Current Growth contracted annual recurring revenue (for reference) | £50k |
The Enterprise subscription is priced at the current list price. No discount is included in this draft. The Enterprise implementation is a one-off fixed fee, set out separately in the order form once scope is agreed, and I will confirm that in writing before anything is signed. Payment terms follow the standard thirty days.
Approach
- Security review. BB-Demo supports Brenneck Pay's security and outsourcing review, with questions answered in writing.
- Access. SSO and SCIM are connected to your identity provider.
- Sandbox. Brenneck Pay's team uses the Sandbox to test any new connector before it goes live.
- Onboarding of new teams. Elena Novak, your CSM, leads adoption for any new teams and keeps the quarterly reviews going.
I will not put dates on these steps until engineering has agreed them with us.
Open points
- Which additional teams Brenneck Pay wants to bring in, and in what order.
- Whether the Enterprise term should start at the point of upgrade or align with the end of the current term on 2 Feb 2027.
- Any additional connectors beyond those in use today.
- Whether the on-site training day is of interest.
- Brenneck Pay's own internal approval steps for a change of this size.
Next steps
- Matteo Ricci and Elena Novak walk through this draft with your sponsor and agree which open points matter most.
- BB-Demo confirms the implementation fee and plan in writing.
- A revised proposal, then an order form under the existing MSA, follows once scope is settled.
Best regards,
Matteo
Matteo Ricci, Account Executive, BB-Demo
