What this says

Current to 11 Oct 26

Calderbrook Housing Group gives written notice that its Growth subscription, stated as £44,000 contracted annual recurring revenue, will not renew and ends on 1 Sep 2026. It cites platform consolidation on its Microsoft estate, not service quality.

What it is: a formal notice of non-renewal from Calderbrook Housing Group to BB-Demo, signed by Craig Oduya, Director of Digital and Data, and dated 6 Jul 2026. It is copied to Natalie Eze, Customer Success Manager.

Commits: the customer states that "The subscription will therefore end on Tuesday 1 Sep 2026" with no extension or rolling renewal. It expects the service, including the nightly refresh, to run as normal until then.

Asks: written confirmation of the end date, data location, connector list and switch-off, access withdrawal, a handover session and deletion. The notice says "Nothing in it should be read as a request to renew, to re-quote or to open a renewal discussion."

Not settled: the document does not show whether BB-Demo acknowledged it or answered the six requests. The term end has passed as of the as-of date, and the notice does not show what happened afterwards.

1. Purpose of this notice

Calderbrook Housing Group gives formal notice that it will not renew its BB-Demo subscription at the end of the current term. This notice is given under the agreement between Calderbrook Housing Group and BB-Demo and should be treated as written notice of non-renewal.

The subscription will therefore end on Tuesday 1 Sep 2026, and we do not intend any extension, continuation or rolling renewal beyond that date.

This notice relates to the whole subscription listed above and to every connector, user and add-on attached to it.

3. Background

Read the whole document (4,308 characters)

Calderbrook bought the brain so that its business-intelligence team could bring tenant calls, repairs tickets, complaints and rent arrears into one board-ready picture. That work has been useful and the team has valued the support it has had from BB-Demo over the term.

The decision to end the subscription follows a review of our data tooling, which has been reviewed against the platform strategy. We are consolidating our data on a single in-house platform built on our existing Microsoft estate, and we are building that capability in-house. The decision is a matter of platform direction and supplier consolidation. It is not a reflection of the service we have received.

4. What we are asking BB-Demo to do

We would like the end of the term to be orderly. Our exit position matters to us, so we ask BB-Demo to confirm the following in writing.

  1. End date. Confirmation that the subscription ends on Tuesday 1 Sep 2026 and that no further invoice will be raised for any period after that date.
  2. Data. Confirmation that all of our data remains in our own Snowflake account, and a description of anything BB-Demo has created or configured there (tables, views, pages, dashboards and indexing artefacts) so that our team can decide what to retain and what to remove.
  3. Connectors. A list of every connector currently configured, with the systems it reads from, and confirmation of the point at which each will be switched off.
  4. Access. Confirmation that BB-Demo's access to our Snowflake account and to every connected system will be withdrawn at the end of the term, and that user accounts will be closed.
  5. Handover. A short working session between our data team and BB-Demo before the end date to walk through configuration, documentation and anything our team needs to carry over to the in-house platform.
  6. Deletion. Written confirmation, after the end date, that BB-Demo holds no Calderbrook data outside our Snowflake account, or that any such data has been deleted.

5. Between now and the end date

The service remains in place until Tuesday 1 Sep 2026 and we expect it to run as normal, including the nightly refresh. Our active usage is modest and will reduce further as work moves to the in-house platform. We do not expect to raise new requests, and we are not seeking changes to the subscription, the number of users or the connectors.

Please direct all correspondence about the wind-down to Craig Oduya. Natalie Eze remains our day-to-day contact for the handover session and for any practical questions.

6. Reservation

This notice does not waive any right or obligation of either party under the agreement. Nothing in it should be read as a request to renew, to re-quote or to open a renewal discussion.

7. Acknowledgement

We would be grateful if BB-Demo would acknowledge receipt of this notice and confirm the points in section 4 in writing.
