What it says
What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Draft proposal dated 16 Jul 2024 from Tom Ashdown recommending the Growth tier at £44,000 a year, with a total deal value of £56,000 including one-off implementation. Standard Growth service levels apply; payment terms are thirty days from invoice.
What it is: a first-version, for-discussion proposal from Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, to Calderbrook Housing Group. It recommends Growth and is not an order form or a contract.
Commits: nothing binds either party yet. The text states "The annual subscription price is £44,000" and "Payment terms are thirty days from invoice." Implementation is a fixed fee of about eight weeks.
Unusual: the £56,000 total deal value is not an annual price. The text says it "includes the one-off implementation fee, which will not recur at renewal."
Not settled: exact availability and P1 response figures are left to the order form, and the connector go-live days are to be agreed before signing. The document is a 2024 draft, so any executed order form would supersede it; the text does not show whether one was signed.

Context
Calderbrook Housing Group is a housing association serving a large number of homes across West Yorkshire. Your business-intelligence team has told us that the board picture is assembled by hand each cycle. Tenant calls sit in the call recorder, repairs tickets sit in the helpdesk, complaints are held in one place and rent arrears in another. Most of the effort goes into reconciling those sources, not into reading what they say.
What you asked us for is simple to state: one place where your team can ask a question across all of it and get an answer that is current and board-ready.
This draft sets out how BB-Demo would do that, what it would cost and what we would need from you. It is a first version, and several points are marked as open so we can settle them together.
What BB-Demo is
Read the whole document (6,009 characters)
BB-Demo provides the company brain: one AI-queryable layer over your CRM, calls, emails, tickets, finance and other operational data. It is built and run inside your own Snowflake account, so your data stays under your control and your existing access rules continue to apply. Your teams ask questions in plain English through pages, chat and search, and they can build dashboards on top for the board.
Why Growth
Your need spans several teams (tenant services, repairs, complaints and income), not a single department. The Growth tier fits that shape:
- The Growth user allowance covers your business-intelligence team and the managers who will want to ask questions directly, with headroom to add more.
- The Growth connector allowance is enough for the call recorder, the helpdesk, your CRM and the finance and rent systems, with room for one or two further sources.
- The dashboards builder is included, which is what your board reporting needs.
- Quarterly business reviews are included, so we sit down with you each quarter to look at usage and value.
If your plans change, moving between tiers is straightforward and we would rather get this right than oversell.
Scope
Included in the implementation
- Connecting the agreed sources to the brain inside your Snowflake account.
- Indexing historic records so the first questions return useful answers.
- Setting up the nightly refresh, which completes by 07:00 your local time on business days.
- Building a first set of board dashboards with your business-intelligence team.
- Training for your analysts and the managers who will use the brain.
Not included
- Additional users or connectors beyond the Growth allowances, which can be added later as add-ons.
- Dedicated data residency, Premium support or the Sandbox, which belong to the Enterprise tier or to add-ons and are not needed on current information.
- On-site training days, available as an add-on if you want one.
Delivery approach
| Phase | What happens | Who |
|---|---|---|
| Kick-off | Confirm sources, owners and access, and agree the first questions the board needs answered | Tom Ashdown with your business-intelligence lead |
| Connect and index | Connectors are configured and records indexed inside your Snowflake account | BB-Demo delivery team with your IT colleagues |
| Build | First dashboards and saved questions built with your analysts | BB-Demo delivery team with your business-intelligence team |
| Train and go live | Training sessions, first board pack produced from the brain | BB-Demo delivery team |
| Hand over | Natalie Eze takes over as your Customer Success Manager and schedules the first review | Natalie Eze |
The Growth implementation is a fixed-fee engagement of about eight weeks. Where a connector is promised in the order form, it will carry a commitment to be live within a stated number of days, which we would agree with you before signing.
Service levels
The standard Growth service levels apply:
- Availability at the Growth level, with service credits if it is missed.
- A first response time for priority one issues at the Growth level.
- Nightly refresh complete by 07:00 your local time on business days.
We will state the exact commitments in the order form so there is nothing to interpret later.
Pricing
| Item | Basis | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Growth subscription | Annual, invoiced in advance | £44,000 |
| Implementation | One-off fixed fee, making up the balance of the total | Included in total below |
| Total deal value | Subscription for the first year plus the one-off implementation | £56,000 |
Notes:
- The annual subscription price is £44,000. The total deal value of £56,000 is not an annual price: it includes the one-off implementation fee, which will not recur at renewal.
- Payment terms are thirty days from invoice. Quarterly invoicing is available on request.
- All prices are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT.
- I will confirm the final figures in writing before anything is signed, as this is a draft.
Open points
- Which systems hold rent arrears and complaints data, and who owns access to them.
- Whether your IT colleagues want the connectors reviewed before kick-off.
- Whether the board would like a specific layout for the first dashboard.
- Target go-live relative to your next board cycle.
Next steps
- Review this draft with your business-intelligence team and note anything that does not match how you work.
- Join a short working session with me to settle the open points above.
- I will turn the agreed scope into an order form under our standard master agreement.
- Agree a kick-off date that suits your board calendar.
No drama if some of this needs reshaping. Let's get something in the diary and go through it together.
Best, Tom
Tom Ashdown Account Executive, BB-Demo
