Final proposal from Nell Ashcombe dated 12 Mar 2024 to move Lornefield from Starter to Growth when the term ends on 2 Apr 2024. The deal amount is forty-four thousand pounds, invoiced annually in advance, with no discount. No service levels are stated.

What it is: a customer proposal, not an order form. It recommends moving from Starter to Growth, citing healthy use, one ticket in the last month and invoices paid on time.

Commits: nothing binding yet. It states "The deal amount is forty-four thousand pounds, invoiced annually in advance", with standard thirty-day payment terms and no discount.

Unusual: the Starter figure is given as "a contracted annual value of nineteen thousand five hundred pounds" for fifteen licensed users. The Growth user and connector allowances are described only as above the Starter limits, with no numbers.

Not settled: the document does not show whether the customer accepted. An order form is promised on agreement, and the executed paper would decide price and terms. It is also stale against the current date.

Body

Lornefield Pensions Administration - Proposal

Prepared by: Nell Ashcombe, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder, BB-Demo Date: Tuesday 12 March 2024 Status: Final

Context

Lornefield joined BB-Demo on 3 Apr 2023 as a Year 1 design partner. You are an Edinburgh-based administrator of occupational pension schemes, and you bought the brain so that scheme-relationship managers could see trustee calls, member-query tickets and fee invoices in one place.

You are on the Starter tier today. The subscription covers fifteen licensed users and has a contracted annual value of nineteen thousand five hundred pounds. The current term ends on 2 Apr 2024.

What we have seen

  • Active use has grown over the last quarter, and the team using the brain is asking more of it.
  • Support has been quiet: a single ticket in the last month, nothing high priority.
  • Invoices have been paid on time, with nothing overdue.

That is a healthy account, and it is the reason we are making this proposal now rather than at the last minute.

Proposal

We propose moving Lornefield from Starter to the Growth tier when the current term ends.

Growth is built for several teams rather than one. In practice it gives you:

  • the Growth user allowance, which is well above the Starter limit;
  • the Growth connector allowance, so more of your systems can sit behind the same brain;
  • the dashboards builder, so your managers can build their own views;
  • quarterly business reviews with your customer success manager, Daniel Okafor.

Your existing connections and history carry across. Nothing needs to be rebuilt.

ItemAmount
Growth subscription, annualforty-four thousand pounds

The deal amount is forty-four thousand pounds, invoiced annually in advance. Payment terms are the standard thirty days. No discount is applied.

Why now

As a design partner you helped shape how the brain works for pension administration. The Growth tier lets other teams, such as the people who handle member queries and fee billing, use what the scheme-relationship managers already rely on. We would rather you grew into the brain deliberately than hit the Starter limits mid-year.

Next steps

  • Read through this proposal and tell Nell or Daniel what is missing.
  • Daniel will walk your team through the Growth features on your own data.
  • On agreement, we issue an order form so that the new tier starts as the current term ends.

Best, Nell
