What it says
What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26A final Starter-tier QBR deck prepared by Marcus Bell for the review on 27 Jun 2024. It reports rising usage, no tickets and no overdue invoices, and notes the term ends on 30 Nov 2024. It states no price or service-level figures.
What it is: a customer-facing quarterly business review from Marcus Bell, Customer Success Manager, with Tom Ashdown named as account owner. It is dated 27 Jun 2024 and is a point-in-time read, now well out of date.
Commits: it binds no one commercially. The only dated actions are internal follow-ups, such as "Commercial discussion on the next term" owned by Tom Ashdown "Ahead of 30 Nov 2024".
Unusual: the deck names Tom Ashdown as account owner, and the document does not show whether he is still at BB-Demo. Usage growth is described without figures, as "up strongly" on a small base.
Not settled: the contracted price, the renewal outcome, the user count and the connector count are not stated. The deck refers to the executed order form but does not quote it, so the order form must be checked for terms.

Body
Brackwell Freight Ltd - QBR
Status: Final Prepared by: Marcus Bell, Customer Success Manager, BB-Demo Account owner: Tom Ashdown Review date: 27 Jun 2024 Tier: Starter
1. Where we are
| Item | Position |
|---|---|
| Customer since | 1 Dec 2023 |
| Current term ends | 30 Nov 2024 |
| Tier | Starter |
| Contracted subscription | The Starter annual subscription, as per the executed order form |
| Users | Within the Starter user allowance |
| Overdue invoices | None |
Brackwell Freight bought the brain so that revenue operations and the depot account managers can see accounts, delivery-exception tickets and calls together, and spot retail contracts that are wobbling early. This review covers how that is going since go-live.
2. Usage this quarter
Read the whole document (3,436 characters)
- Average active users over the last thirty days are up strongly on the previous quarter. It is a small base, so I would not read too much into the exact percentage, but the direction is clearly good.
- More people are logging in regularly rather than a couple of enthusiasts doing all the work.
- Headroom against the Starter user allowance is comfortable. There is plenty of room for more depot account managers to be added without a conversation about tiers.
What I'd like to understand next: which depots the new users sit in, so we can see whether the five other depots are using the brain in the same way as Trafford Park.
3. Value being delivered
- Account managers are using chat and search to pull a single view of a retail customer: the account, recent delivery-exception tickets and the latest calls.
- Revenue operations no longer have to reconcile those sources by hand before a contract review.
- The use case you bought the brain for, spotting at-risk retail contracts early, is the one that is being used most.
I've pulled the numbers on questions asked and will walk through them on the call. The aim is to put a plain statement of value on one page before the renewal conversation, so nobody has to guess.
4. Support and service
| Measure | Last thirty days |
|---|---|
| Tickets raised | None |
| High priority tickets | None |
| Service level misses | None |
| Availability | Within the Starter service level |
| Nightly refresh | Complete by 07:00 on business days |
A quiet support queue is good news here, and it fits with usage rising rather than falling. If anything is bothering the team and they have simply not raised it, please say so.
5. Connectors and data
- The connected systems are loading and the nightly refresh is landing on time.
- The Starter tier has a hard limit on connectors. We are inside it, but if the depots want another source connected, we should talk about that before the renewal rather than after.
6. Looking ahead
| Action | Owner | When |
|---|---|---|
| Share the usage breakdown by depot | Marcus Bell | Next week |
| Short session for new users on search and chat | Marcus Bell | Within the next few weeks |
| Agree who at Brackwell attends the renewal conversation | Marcus Bell with the Brackwell sponsor | Before the end of the summer |
| Commercial discussion on the next term | Tom Ashdown | Ahead of 30 Nov 2024 |
7. Summary
- Usage is growing and broadening.
- No open tickets and no overdue invoices.
- The term ends on 30 Nov 2024, so the renewal conversation should start early.
Happy to jump on a call to go through any of this. Thanks, Marcus
