What it says
What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Internal draft proposal of 13 Oct 2023 for a Starter subscription. It states the annual price as nineteen thousand five hundred pounds and the total deal value as twenty-five thousand five hundred pounds including implementation. It states no availability or P1 response figure.
What it is: an internal working copy by Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, marked "internal working copy, not yet shared with the customer." It proposes the Starter tier with four first connections: CRM, helpdesk, call recorder and Microsoft 365.
Commits: nothing yet, as it is an unsigned draft. It states the annual price as "nineteen thousand five hundred pounds", a one-off fixed-fee implementation of about four weeks, and "Payment terms are the standard thirty days."
Unusual: the total deal value includes implementation, so the document warns it "should not be read as an annual price". It also says "Contracted annual recurring revenue is nil until an order form is signed."
Not settled: the final connector list, the day-to-day administrator, kick-off timing and the price, which Tom is still to confirm in writing. The text gives no availability percentage, P1 response time or service credit figures, and nothing shows the proposal was sent or signed.

Body
Brackwell Freight Ltd - Proposal v1
Status: Draft - internal working copy, not yet shared with the customer.
Prepared by Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BB-Demo. Date: 13 Oct 2023.
Account owner: Tom Ashdown. Customer success manager once signed: Marcus Bell.
1. Context
Brackwell Freight Ltd runs road freight and contract warehousing for retailers from Trafford Park and five other depots. Revenue operations and the depot account managers currently look at accounts, delivery-exception tickets and customer calls in separate places. That makes it hard to see which retail contracts are at risk until a customer says so.
The aim of this proposal is to put those views together in one place, so the team can ask a question once and get an answer drawn from the CRM, the helpdesk and the call recorder.
2. What BB-Demo will provide
BB-Demo builds and runs the company brain inside Brackwell's own Snowflake account. The data stays with Brackwell; BB-Demo connects the sources, keeps them refreshed and gives people a way to ask questions of them.
The proposal is for the Starter tier, which suits one team getting started:
Read the whole document (3,703 characters)
- pages, chat and search over the connected data
- the Starter user allowance and the Starter connector limit
- a six-monthly check-in with the customer success manager
- the standard Starter service level, including the nightly refresh
Proposed first connections
| Source | Why it matters to Brackwell |
|---|---|
| CRM | Accounts, contacts and contract owners for retail customers |
| Helpdesk | Delivery-exception tickets and how quickly they are resolved |
| Call recorder | What customers say on calls with depot account managers |
| Microsoft 365 | Email threads with retail customers |
The exact set is still to be confirmed with Brackwell's revenue operations lead, and the Starter connector limit is a hard limit, so the list needs to be settled before kick-off.
3. Commercials
| Item | Basis | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Starter subscription | Annual, invoiced in advance | nineteen thousand five hundred pounds |
| Implementation | One-off, fixed fee | the difference between the annual price and the deal total |
| Total deal value | Subscription plus one-off implementation | twenty-five thousand five hundred pounds |
To be clear on what each figure means: the annual price of the Starter subscription is nineteen thousand five hundred pounds. The total deal value of twenty-five thousand five hundred pounds includes the one-off implementation fee, so it should not be read as an annual price. Contracted annual recurring revenue is nil until an order form is signed.
Payment terms are the standard thirty days. Quarterly invoicing is available on request.
4. Implementation approach
Implementation is a fixed-fee piece of work of about four weeks for a Starter customer:
- Connect - agree access and connect the first sources inside Brackwell's Snowflake account.
- Index - bring in the first records and check them against what the team expects to see.
- Train - short sessions for revenue operations and the depot account managers.
- Hand over - move to the customer success manager for adoption and the first check-in.
5. Open points (draft)
- Confirm which four sources are in scope for the first term.
- Confirm who at Brackwell will be the day-to-day administrator.
- Confirm the timing of kick-off against depot peak periods.
- Tom to confirm the price in writing before this goes to the customer.
6. Next steps
- Review this draft internally.
- Share the final proposal with Brackwell.
- Agree the order form under the BB-Demo MSA.
