What it says
What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Final quarterly business review deck for the Growth tier, presented by Daniel Okafor on 20 Nov 2024. It reports rising use, a quiet queue and no overdue invoices, and sets a next-quarter plan ahead of the 30 Jun 2025 contract end.
What it is: a customer-facing QBR deck from BB-Demo's Customer Success Manager. It states "Just under eight" active users on a thirty-day average, up by close to half, with no tickets and no overdue invoices.
Commits: it is not a contract. It commits BB-Demo to follow-up actions: a written summary, a first monthly usage view, and a working session on the dashboards builder.
Unusual: it does not quantify value, saying "We do not want to put a number on this ourselves". The commercial slide refers to the order form rather than stating a figure.
Not settled: who asks the questions, whether a second admin exists, and the renewal price. It is dated 2024, so it is stale for any current renewal view.

Fenmoor Specialty Underwriting - Quarterly Business Review
Status: Final Presented by: Daniel Okafor, Customer Success Manager, BB-Demo Review date: 20 Nov 2024 Tier: Growth Customer since: 1 Jul 2024 Contract end: 30 Jun 2025
Welcome and purpose
Thank you for your time. This review covers how the brain has been used over the quarter, what value it is producing for Fenmoor's underwriting operations, what has gone wrong or nearly did, and what we plan to do next.
The overall picture is positive. Use has grown clearly, the support queue has stayed quiet and the account is in good order.
Headline summary
| Measure | Position |
|---|---|
| Active users, thirty-day average | Just under eight |
| Change against the previous quarter | Up by close to half |
| Support tickets in the last month | None |
| High-priority tickets | None |
| Overdue invoices | None |
| Overall tone | Positive |
The jump in active users is the main story. At the last review the brain was being used by a small group; it is now used by noticeably more people, and that is the direction we hoped for when the Growth tier was set up.

- Active users have risen strongly against the previous quarter, from a small base to just under eight on average.
- The increase suggests the brain is spreading beyond the first group that adopted it.
- There is still plenty of room within the Growth user allowance, so this is headroom rather than a constraint.
- We would like to look at who is asking questions, not just how many people log in. If most questions still come from one or two people, the key-person risk remains even with a better headline.
Talking point: which teams do the new users sit in, and which teams are still missing?
Slide: Value delivered
Fenmoor bought the brain so that underwriting operations can answer capacity providers' oversight questions from one view of submissions, bordereaux queries, claims tickets and CRM activity.
What we want to confirm with the team today:
- Which oversight questions are now answered from the brain that used to need manual reconciliation?
- How much time, roughly, does that save in a typical week?
- Has a capacity provider's question been answered faster as a result?
We do not want to put a number on this ourselves. Fenmoor's team knows better than we do, and a figure that comes from you is worth more than one that comes from us.
Slide: Support and service
| Area | Position |
|---|---|
| Tickets raised | None in the last month |
| High-priority tickets | None |
| Availability | No incidents reported to us |
| Nightly refresh | No concerns raised |
A quiet queue sits comfortably alongside rising use, which is a healthy combination: more people using the brain and nothing breaking. We still ask the team to tell us before changing any connected system, because a changed source is the most common reason a connector stops loading.
Slide: Commercial position
| Item | Position |
|---|---|
| Tier | Growth |
| Contracted annual recurring revenue | As per the order form |
| Invoices | Paid, nothing overdue |
| Contract end | 30 Jun 2025 |
There are no commercial issues to raise today. We will come back to the renewal well ahead of the end date, with the value case already written down.
Slide: What is going well
- Use has grown meaningfully in a single quarter.
- Nothing has been raised with the helpdesk.
- Invoices are being paid on time.
- The team has begun to treat the brain as part of its normal routine.
Slide: What to watch
- Concentration of use. Growth in headcount using the brain is welcome; we want to be sure it is not just more logins from the same few question-askers.
- Source health. Records indexed should keep rising for each connected source. A flat line would mean a broken source even if nobody complains.
- Admin cover. More than one person at Fenmoor should be able to administer the brain, so that a departure does not leave it without an owner.
- Fit of the allowance. If use keeps climbing, we should talk honestly about whether the Growth user allowance is the right size for the team's plans.
Slide: Plan for the next quarter
| Action | Owner at BB-Demo | Owner at Fenmoor |
|---|---|---|
| Work through the questions still answered by hand and make the best candidates fast and reliable | Daniel Okafor | Underwriting operations lead |
| Run a short working session on the dashboards builder with a power user | Daniel Okafor | A nominated power user |
| Review which connected sources matter most to oversight questions | Daniel Okafor | Whoever administers the connected systems |
| Confirm a second admin | Daniel Okafor | Underwriting operations lead |
| Share a simple monthly view of questions asked and active users | Daniel Okafor | For information |
Slide: Looking towards renewal
- The current term ends on 30 Jun 2025.
- Between now and then we will keep a running record of the value the team tells us about, so that the renewal conversation starts from evidence.
- Priya Raman remains the account owner for any commercial questions in the meantime.
- We will give plenty of notice before the renewal discussion, rather than leaving it to the last month.
Questions and open discussion
A few prompts to get us started:
- How is the team finding it?
- Is there a team that should be using the brain and is not yet?
- Is there a question you still cannot answer from one place?
- An honest view on whether the user allowance feels right as the team grows.
Next steps
- Daniel will send a short written summary of today's discussion and the agreed actions.
- Daniel will come back to the team with the first monthly usage view after the working session.
- The next quarterly review will be arranged once the actions above are underway.
Just to close the loop: thank you again for the time. It has been good to see the account moving in the right direction.
Best wishes, Daniel
