What this says
Current to 12 Oct 26Onboarding call on 22 Jul 2026 for Moycullen Recruitment. Ollie walked Orla and Ciara through the Salesforce and accounting connectors and training. Both were cooperative. Only two of the four connectors were discussed.
What happened: Ollie Pearson walked Orla Keane and Ciara Joyce through connecting Salesforce and the accounting system on 22 Jul 2026. Ciara committed to creating the Salesforce API user by the end of that week.
Customer view: Orla and Ciara asked sensible questions on training, support, network needs and refresh timing, and both will attend training. Orla closed with thanks for Ollie's help.
Commercial: The kickoff covered four connectors, but this call covered only Salesforce and the accounting system. The evidence does not show where the other two stand.
Watch: Go-live depends on Ciara sending credentials and the accounting checklist. Amara Obi was not on this call and takes over support after go-live.

Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Ciara Joyce to create the Salesforce API user and send the key and secret.
- Ollie Pearson to send the Salesforce guide and the accounting checklist by end of day.
- Ollie Pearson to schedule training once both connectors are live.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- Go-live depends on Ciara supplying the Salesforce credentials and the accounting checklist.
- Only two of the four connectors from the kickoff were discussed, so the others may be behind.
- Orla is the main user, so usage may rest on one person.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- Training for both Orla and Ciara could widen use beyond the main user.
- Saved questions and dashboards built in training can show the team the value of the brain.
Transcript
- Ollie Pearson NoneHi both, thanks for making time. I'm Ollie from the implementation team. Just a quick check, can you hear me okay?
- Orla Keane NoneYes, loud and clear. This is Orla, and Ciara's here as well.
- Ciara Joyce NoneHi Ollie.
- Ollie Pearson NoneGreat. So what I want to do today is walk through getting your connectors live. Your Salesforce and accounting system are ready to plug in, and I want to make sure we've got the right approach on your side. Does that sound right?
- Orla Keane NoneYes. Ciara's going to be the technical contact for this, so she'll manage the credentials and setup.
- Ollie Pearson NonePerfect. Ciara, so the connectors sit inside your Snowflake account: you're not hosting anything, and all they do is pull data nightly from each system. For Salesforce, we'll need a read-only API user. You can create that in your admin console, takes maybe ten minutes.
- Ciara Joyce NoneI've done that before for other tools. What exactly do you need from me?
- Ollie Pearson NoneJust the API key and secret. Once you send those over, we test the connection, usually takes a couple of minutes. If it works, which it does in nearly every case, your Salesforce data starts loading into Snowflake within a few hours. The first sync might take a bit longer because you've got five or six years of opportunity and contact history, but after that it's just incremental changes each night.
- Orla Keane NoneAnd then we can search across all that data?
- Ollie Pearson NoneExactly. Once it's indexed, you and your team can search client accounts, placements, invoices, everything in one place. That's the whole point of the brain, really.
- Ciara Joyce NoneAnd the accounting system is the same process?
- Ollie Pearson NoneSame idea. Different credentials, but the process is identical. Read-only access, we test, it syncs nightly. Once both are live, you've got a complete picture of your business.
- Orla Keane NoneWhen would we actually start using the brain? Do we get training first?
- Ollie Pearson NoneYes. Once both connectors are syncing cleanly, probably by end of next week, we'll schedule a training session. That's a couple of hours where I'll walk you through the search interface, how to build dashboards, and how to save questions that the team can reuse.
- Ciara Joyce NoneShould both of us be in the training?
- Ollie Pearson NoneUp to you. I'd suggest both, but realistically Orla, you'll be the main user, and Ciara's more the admin side, adding users, managing permissions. So it depends whether you want Ciara to know how the tool works.
- Orla Keane NoneWe'll both do it. Good to know how it all works.
- Ollie Pearson NoneBrilliant. Right, so the timeline. Ciara, when could you tackle the Salesforce API user?
- Ciara Joyce NoneI can do it today or tomorrow. By end of week for sure.
- Ollie Pearson NonePerfect. Send me the key and secret whenever you're ready, and I'll test from our side. Meanwhile, I'll send you both a checklist for the accounting system: what we need, what format, the lot. If you can get that to me by early next week, both connectors will be live by end of next week and we can do training the week after.
- Orla Keane NoneAnd if something goes wrong, if the sync fails or the data looks odd, who do we contact?
- Ollie Pearson NoneDuring onboarding, that's me. You've got my email. Once you're live and using the brain properly, you'll have a customer success manager, Amara, who'll do regular check-ins and handle issues. But for now, I'm your person.
- Ciara Joyce NoneIs there anything we need to do on our firewall or network side?
- Ollie Pearson NoneNo, it all runs inside Snowflake. The only thing is keeping those credentials secure, same as you would for anything else. If you ever need to rotate them, just let me know and I can update it from our side.
- Orla Keane NoneAnd how often does the data refresh?
- Ollie Pearson NoneEvery night. Complete by 07:00 your local time on business days. So if you run a report in the morning, you've got everything up to yesterday.
- Ciara Joyce NoneOkay, I think we've got everything we need.
- Ollie Pearson NoneBrilliant. I'll send the Salesforce guide and the accounting checklist over by end of day. Ciara, once you've got the API user set up, just reply with the credentials. And I'll be in touch about training dates once I know both connectors are live.
- Orla Keane NoneThanks, Ollie. Really appreciate your help.
- Ollie Pearson NoneCheers. Speak soon.
