Current to 11 Oct 26Matteo Ricci presented a Starter proposal to Orla Keane and Padraig Flaherty on 14 May 2026: £22k a year plus £6,000 implementation. The customer agreed to review that week and come back with questions. Nothing was signed.
What happened: Matteo Ricci walked Orla Keane and Padraig Flaherty through a Starter proposal on 14 May 2026. He quoted £22k a year plus £6,000 implementation.
Customer view: Orla confirmed that joining Salesforce and finance data by hand hurts, especially at month end. Padraig asked whether Salesforce stays in place and whether they would sign a formal contract.
Commercial: Starter's four connectors and fifteen users fit the use case. Padraig asked about more connectors and Matteo pointed to Growth. The customer only agreed to review and return with questions.
Watch: Matteo said BB-Demo moves quickly once signed and promised to confirm that in writing. The evidence does not show that it was sent or what the customer decided.

Transcript
- Matteo Ricci NoneMorning, both. Can you hear me okay?
- Orla Keane NoneHi, Matteo. Yes, we're good. Padraig's just here.
- Padraig Flaherty NoneMorning. Yeah, I'm on. How are you?
- Matteo Ricci NoneVery well, thanks. So I've been thinking about what you shared about your Salesforce and accounting setup. What jumped out at me is how much time you probably spend joining the dots manually: you've got accounts in Salesforce, invoices are somewhere else, and I'd imagine there's quite a bit of manual work every week just trying to get a complete picture of a client.
- Orla Keane NoneYeah, that's, that's exactly it, especially end of month.
- Matteo Ricci NoneRight. That's what the brain solves. It sits on top of all your existing systems, Salesforce stays Salesforce, your accounting stays put, but the brain connects to everything and indexes it. So you can ask: 'Show me all my active placements under life-sciences clients and which invoices are outstanding,' and you get one answer instead of jumping between three systems.
- Padraig Flaherty NoneSo we're not ripping out Salesforce or anything?
- Matteo Ricci NoneNo, nothing like that. Everything stays where it is. The brain runs on Snowflake, you host it in your account, and it just reads from your existing systems. Your data stays on your infrastructure.
- Orla Keane NoneHow long does it take to get up and running?
- Matteo Ricci NoneFour weeks on Starter, which is what I'd recommend. Weeks one and two we connect Salesforce, your call recorder, accounting. Week three we make sure the data is clean and your team starts exploring. Week four you're live.
- Padraig Flaherty NoneWhat's our time commitment?
- Matteo Ricci NoneNot much. An hour in week one to confirm we've got the right connectors, one check-in in week three. Ciara will probably spend a few hours with our implementation person, but that's it. We handle most of the work.
- Orla Keane NoneAnd what's included in Starter?
- Matteo Ricci NoneFour connectors, the systems you plug in. I'd suggest Salesforce, call recorder, accounting, and HR. Fifteen licensed users, that's soft. And the core features: search, chat with the brain, pages which are dashboards you build yourself.
- Padraig Flaherty NoneWhat if we need more connectors?
- Matteo Ricci NoneThen you move to Growth: eight connectors, forty users, more advanced features. But for your use case now, Starter is right.
- Orla Keane NoneOkay, what's the cost?
- Matteo Ricci NoneAnnual subscription is twenty-two thousand pounds. Implementation on Starter is six thousand one-time. First year is twenty-eight thousand all-in, then twenty-two thousand annually unless you add users or connectors.
- Padraig Flaherty NoneWhen do you need a decision?
- Matteo Ricci NoneTwelfth of June. That's just under four weeks, gives you time to talk with your team and finance, and gives us time to get you live before summer.
- Orla Keane NoneThat works. What's the next step?
- Matteo Ricci NoneI'll send a proposal with commercial terms, timeline, and a security questionnaire for your IT team. Once you've reviewed, if anything's unclear, we can talk again. If you're happy, you sign an order form and Ollie kicks off.
- Padraig Flaherty NoneSo we're signing a formal contract?
- Matteo Ricci NoneAn order form, really, one page. I would rather you heard it from me: we do move quickly once we're signed, so make sure you're comfortable before we go. But I'm happy to walk through anything, and let me confirm that in writing.
- Orla Keane NoneOnce we sign, how quickly does work start?
- Matteo Ricci NoneThe next business day. Ollie starts discovery and connector work immediately.
- Padraig Flaherty NoneOkay. We'll review this week and come back with questions.
- Matteo Ricci NoneBrilliant. I'll get that over by end of day. Anything else before we wrap?
- Orla Keane NoneI don't think so. We'll review and get back to you.
- Matteo Ricci NonePerfect. Speak soon, both. Cheers.
- Padraig Flaherty NoneThanks, Matteo.
- Orla Keane NoneCheers.
