What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Matteo Ricci walked Julia Hartmann and Florian Becker through a Growth proposal on 21 Nov 2025: £12k implementation, a discounted first year, and standard £44k at renewal. Florian said it worked for them.
What happened: Matteo set out Growth with 40 users, eight connectors, the dashboards builder and quarterly business reviews, live within eight weeks of signature.
Commercial: Matteo quoted fifty-nine thousand five hundred in total, made up of £12k implementation and forty-seven thousand five hundred for year one. He said the discount applies to the first term only and renewal moves to £44k a year.
Watch: The spoken figures do not obviously reconcile, as year one is quoted above the standard £44k yet called discounted. Check the written proposal and the 20% first-term discount limit before relying on them.
Customer view: Florian asked about upfront payment and year two, then agreed. Julia wanted CRM, tickets and calls working first. This is a proposal, not an executed order form.

Follow-up
Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Matteo Ricci to send the formal proposal by end of that week.
- Julia Hartmann and Florian Becker to review it and say whether to proceed or adjust.
- Matteo Ricci to confirm the discount and year-one figures in the written proposal.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- The quoted discount and first-year price do not reconcile against the standard £44,000, so the written proposal needs checking.
- Nothing in the call shows the customer has accepted the terms; the proposal is an open item.
- Delivery leans on Tim, the main contact, giving an hour or two a week during implementation.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- Growth includes eight connectors, so accounting and possibly HR systems could be added later.
- Extra users come in blocks of ten and connectors in blocks of five as add-ons.
Transcript
- Matteo Ricci NoneGood morning, everyone. Can you see my screen?
- Julia Hartmann NoneYes, we're good.
- Matteo Ricci NonePerfect. So today I wanted to walk through what we'd put in place for Kesselfeld. Julia, you remember the demo we did a couple of weeks ago?
- Julia Hartmann NoneYes, absolutely. And we've been talking internally about what it would actually look like for our team.
- Matteo Ricci NoneGreat. So the Growth tier is designed for organisations like you: multiple teams, customer success, support, renewals data. You get forty users, eight connectors, our dashboards builder, and quarterly business reviews with Marcus, our CSM.
- Florian Becker NoneAnd which systems does that connect to?
- Matteo Ricci NoneSo you'd start with Salesforce, Zendesk, your call recorder, and your product usage data. That's four. We'd then add your accounting system and, is there an HR system you'd want visibility into?
- Julia Hartmann NoneMaybe down the line. To be honest, we'd be happy to get CRM, tickets and calls working first.
- Matteo Ricci NoneSensible. So you've got headroom within the eight connectors, you could add more later without renegotiating the contract.
- Florian Becker NoneOkay. And the timeline for getting this live?
- Matteo Ricci NoneEight weeks from when you sign. Connectors come online on a rolling basis: we'd have the main ones feeding data within three weeks, and everything is fully indexed by week eight.
- Julia Hartmann NoneWhat does our team need to do during that time?
- Matteo Ricci NoneTim, your systems engineer, would be the main point of contact. He'd help us map the fields in Salesforce, set up the API credentials, that kind of thing. Maybe an hour or two per week. Once we're live, it's pretty hands-off.
- Julia Hartmann NoneThat's manageable. And then what's the commercial side?
- Matteo Ricci NoneSo the total investment is fifty-nine thousand five hundred. That breaks down as twelve thousand for the implementation, and forty-seven thousand five hundred for your first year of the subscription.
- Florian Becker NoneRight. Is that all upfront?
- Matteo Ricci NoneImplementation is due on signature. The annual subscription we'd invoice upfront as well, though we can split it monthly if that works better for your finance team.
- Florian Becker NoneAnd then year two?
- Matteo Ricci NoneAt renewal, you'd move to the standard Growth pricing of forty-four thousand per year. That discount, the seventeen and a half thousand, applies only to your first term. I would rather you heard it from me now than later.
- Julia Hartmann NoneOkay. And the service levels, what do we get?
- Matteo Ricci NoneNinety-nine point five percent availability is guaranteed. Response time for urgent issues is one business hour. We refresh your data every night, complete by seven in the morning your time.
- Florian Becker NoneAnd if we need to scale beyond forty users?
- Matteo Ricci NoneYou'd add in blocks of ten users. Same with connectors, blocks of five. Those are add-on line items, priced separately. No massive implementation overhead, we just provision them and flip the switch.
- Julia Hartmann NoneMakes sense. What happens next?
- Matteo Ricci NoneI'll send you a formal proposal with all the scope, pricing and timeline by end of week. You can review it, loop in anyone else who needs to see it, and then let me know if you want to move forward or if you'd like to adjust anything.
- Florian Becker NoneGood. That works for us. Thanks, Matteo.
- Matteo Ricci NoneCheers, Florian. Speak soon.
