What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Onboarding call on 26 Sep 2025 with Femi Olatunji alone. CRM and helpdesk connectors are live, the call recorder is blocked on a transcript permission, and the accounting connector has no owner yet. Usage is growing in partnerships operations.
What happened: Hamza Akhtar reviewed connectors, SSO, SCIM, Snowflake roles and the nightly refresh with Femi. Tomasz Wiśniewski was not on this call.
Customer view: Femi is practical and wants to be able to prove to security that the brain sees only what it is pointed at. Hamza showed the grants on screen and Femi said that closes it.
Commercial: Hamza noted connector headroom on Enterprise, so the accounting connector can wait for an owner. Usage is picking up in partnerships operations, while the complaints team has not started.
Watch: the call recorder cannot read transcripts until IT changes the service account scope. Femi wants Tomasz as a second admin so he is not the only person who can change things.

Transcript
- Hamza Akhtar NoneHi Femi, can you hear me alright?
- Femi Olatunji NoneYeah, loud and clear. Hi Hamza. Sorry, give me a second, I'm just closing something off.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneNo rush. Good afternoon, by the way. Hope Friday is being kind to you.
- Femi Olatunji NoneIt's quiet, which is the best kind. Half the building is in planning meetings, so I've actually had a clear run at this.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneLovely. So, my plan for today is fairly simple. I'd like to go through where the connectors are, then SSO and SCIM, then the nightly refresh and what you'll see on Monday. And anything you've been stuck on, obviously.
- Femi Olatunji NoneThat works. I do have a couple of things I wanted to ask about the Snowflake side, so I'll slot those in.
- Hamza Akhtar NonePerfect. Let me share my screen. Can you see the connector page?
- Femi Olatunji NoneYep. Mm. So the CRM one is green, the helpdesk is green, and the call recorder is the amber one.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneRight, that's what I see too. The CRM loaded cleanly and the helpdesk has indexed everything back to the start of the history you gave us. The call recorder is waiting on credentials, I think. Is that the service account?
- Femi Olatunji NoneIt is. I created the account but the scope was wrong. It could list the recordings but not read the transcripts. A colleague in IT has to change the permission and I'm waiting on them.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneOkay, that's a very common one. Read access to the transcripts is the bit it needs, and listing alone won't be enough. Do you want me to send the exact wording you can pass to them?
- Femi Olatunji NoneYes please, that would save a round trip. They tend to push back if the ask is vague.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneSure. I'll write it up as a short note this afternoon, no jargon. Now, the accounting system connector. Is that one still on the list?
- Femi Olatunji NoneStill on the list, but I'd put it after the others. Finance haven't decided who owns it on our side. I don't want to start it and have it half done.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneThat's fair. Better to wait for an owner than have a connector nobody looks after. We've got plenty of connector headroom on Enterprise, so there's no pressure there.
- Femi Olatunji NoneGood. Right, SSO. The identity team have the metadata file from you, and they've said they'll do the test login early next week.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneGreat. And SCIM is the one I'd like to spend a bit of time on, because it's where people tend to get tripped up. You've got up to 150 licensed users, and SCIM will push people in and out as groups change. So what we need is a clear idea of which groups map to which role in the brain.
- Femi Olatunji NoneRight. So my thinking was three groups to begin with. Partnerships operations, merchant onboarding and complaints. Everyone else can wait.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneThat's a sensible start. And who do you want as admins? Just you, or someone else as well?
- Femi Olatunji NoneMe, and Tomasz as a second one. I don't want to be the only person who can change things.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneGood, I'd always push for a second admin. If you're on leave and something breaks, you don't want it sitting there. I'll note that down.
- Femi Olatunji NoneOkay. Can I ask the Snowflake bit now? It's about the roles.
- Hamza Akhtar NonePlease do.
- Femi Olatunji NoneOur security people asked whether the brain can see anything in the account beyond what we point it at. I said no but I wanted to be able to prove it.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneYeah, and that's a fair question, it came up in the security review too. The brain runs inside your Snowflake account, so you own the roles. We ask for a dedicated role with access to one database and the warehouse it uses, and that's all. If you take the role away, it stops. I can show you the grants on screen if that helps.
- Femi Olatunji NoneThat would help, actually. If I can screenshot that and send it to them, that closes it.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneOkay, one moment. I'll open the grants page. Here, so you can see it's the one database, the one warehouse, and nothing at account level.
- Femi Olatunji NoneRight. Yeah. That's clean. I'll take a copy of that. Thank you.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneGood. Now the refresh. The nightly run finishes by 07:00 your time on business days. Because the CRM and helpdesk are already loading, you should see a full run land by Monday morning. If it doesn't, tell me straight away rather than waiting.
- Femi Olatunji NoneWill do. And if the call recorder comes through over the weekend, will it just join the next run?
- Hamza Akhtar NoneIt'll join the next one, and the older recordings will backfill over a couple of nights. So a bit of patience on the history.
- Femi Olatunji NoneFine. That's no problem.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneOne more thing before we get to next steps. Usage has picked up nicely this month. Quite a few people from partnerships operations are already asking it questions. Are you hearing that on your side?
- Femi Olatunji NoneYeah, definitely. Tomasz has been pushing it. He wants every marketplace client to be visible in one place, so he's got his team trying it on real cases. The complaints team haven't really started.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneThat's useful. It tells me the complaints group is the one to get in the SCIM mapping early, so they're not left out. And you've raised a few tickets with us, nothing urgent. Mostly how-to, I think.
- Femi Olatunji NoneYeah, small things. How to filter by client, where the refresh time is shown. I'm just learning where things live.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneThat's exactly what I'd hope for at this point. Okay. Let me do a recap so we're both clear. I'll send the permission wording for the call recorder this afternoon, and the SCIM attribute mapping sheet. You'll chase IT on the transcript scope and confirm the three groups, and get the test login done early next week.
- Femi Olatunji NoneYes. And I'll bring Tomasz to the next call, because he'll want to see the complaints piece and agree who owns what.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneBrilliant, he's very welcome. I'll look out for Monday's first run and message you if anything looks off.
- Femi Olatunji NoneGreat. Thanks Hamza, have a good weekend.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneYou too, Femi. Speak soon.
