What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Onboarding call with Linnea Holm, CRM Manager, after a helpdesk connector stopped syncing when a status field was renamed. Covered connector health checks, SSO and SCIM group design, and the first load of the e-commerce connector.
What happened: Hamza Akhtar explained that the helpdesk connector missed new tickets after Linnea Holm renamed a status field. It was remapped and caught up overnight.
Customer view: Linnea took ownership, agreed to log system changes in the admin notes and to check connector health weekly. She was the only customer attendee, as her senior colleague was in a workshop, and Linnea said she could decide technical matters.
Commercial: The Enterprise tier came up twice: the fastest ticket response tier, and SSO and SCIM provisioning for directory groups. Group names were agreed as the insight team, e-commerce, customer service and stores by region.
Watch: Whether store managers may see other regions is undecided and sits with the absent colleague. Field renames in connected systems remain a recurring source of silent sync failure.

Follow-up
Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Hamza Akhtar to send the user group plan on the day of the call.
- Linnea Holm to review the e-commerce order data and confirm the region visibility question with her senior colleague.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- A field renamed in a connected system can silently break a sync until someone checks the mapping.
- Cross-region visibility for store managers is undecided and the senior decision-maker was absent.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- SSO and SCIM group provisioning under the Enterprise tier gives the customer a reason to roll the brain out across stores and teams.
- The e-commerce connector's healthy first load deepens the data the brain can answer from.
Transcript
- Linnea Holm NoneHi Hamza. Sorry, I am just finishing a sandwich, give me one second.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneNo rush at all, I'm doing the same. Hi, Linnea. Is Karin joining, or is it just us today?
- Linnea Holm NoneJust us. She is in a workshop with the regional leads, she sends her apologies. She said I can decide the technical things and tell her afterwards.
- Hamza Akhtar NonePerfect, that suits today, it's quite hands-on. So, three things on my list. The ticket you raised, user access and groups, and the e-commerce connector. Anything you want to add?
- Linnea Holm NoneThe ticket first, maybe. It is closed now, yes? I got an email but I did not understand all of it.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneIt is, yes. So what happened was the helpdesk connector stopped picking up new tickets after a field was renamed on your side. The sync was running, it just wasn't finding what it expected. We remapped it and it caught up overnight.
- Linnea Holm NoneAh. That was me, I think. I renamed a status field because the support team asked for it. I should have told you.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneIt's not a mistake, honestly, you couldn't have known. But it's worth having a habit: if anyone changes a field name in a connected system, drop a line to the support channel and we'll check the mapping before it bites.
- Linnea Holm NoneOkay. I will put that in our admin notes. We have a page for system changes already, I can add a line.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneThat'd be ideal. Now, can I show you where to see connector health yourself? Let me share my screen. Can you see it?
- Linnea Holm NoneYes. It is the admin page, right? With the list of sources.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneThat's it. Each source shows the last successful load and how many records came in. If the record count sits flat for several days, that's your early sign something's off, even if nobody has complained.
- Linnea Holm NoneSo I should look at this once a week, or more?
- Hamza Akhtar NoneOnce a week is fine to start. Mornings after the nightly refresh, it should be complete before seven your time on business days.
- Linnea Holm NoneGood. Seven, I will remember that. And if it is not, I raise a ticket?
- Hamza Akhtar NoneYes, raise a ticket and say what you see. Enterprise gets the fastest response tier, so you won't be waiting around.
- Linnea Holm NoneGood to know. Now the groups. Our IT would like to use single sign-on, and they asked if the user groups can come from our directory automatically.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneYes, Enterprise includes SSO and SCIM provisioning, so the groups can flow through. What I'd suggest is that we agree the group names first, so you're not provisioning a hundred and fifty people into one big bucket.
- Linnea Holm NoneRight. We have the insight team, e-commerce, customer service, and the stores by region. That is what I would use.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneThat's a good shape. Then permissions follow the group. For instance, stores see their region's feedback and customer service sees tickets, and then you decide who sees what across the lot.
- Linnea Holm NoneShould the store managers see other regions? Karin will have a view, I think she wants them to compare.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneThat's her call and the regional leads', so I'd leave it open and keep it simple at the start: own region only, and loosen it if they ask. Easier to open up than to take back.
- Linnea Holm NoneYes, I agree. I will write it down as a question for Karin.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneBrilliant. E-commerce connector, last one. Access came through yesterday, the first load ran in the night, and it looks healthy. I'd like you to have a quick look at the order data and tell me if it looks like your shop.
- Linnea Holm NoneI can do that this afternoon. Johan will care more than me, though. Can I forward him the link?
- Hamza Akhtar NonePlease do. Tell him to be blunt, if it looks odd I want to know. Right, I think that's everything. I'll write up the group plan and send it today, and you'll confirm the open question with Karin.
- Linnea Holm NoneYes. Thank you, Hamza, this was useful. Speak soon.
- Hamza Akhtar NoneCheers, Linnea. Enjoy the rest of your lunch.
