What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Brendan Moran, Chief Operating Officer, reviewed the Growth proposal on 10 Sep 2025 and committed to nothing. He wants itemised lines, a quarterly option, clear service terms and legal review.
What happened: Lewis Kerr walked through the proposal. The total of £53,800 is the first-year figure including implementation, which Brendan confirmed is not the subscription alone.
Customer view: Brendan is careful and compliance-minded. He wants connector commitments and service levels written into the order form, and expects quick handling because brokers will not wait.
Commercial: Siobhán Dunne would accept Growth's standard service and cares most about data fresh by the morning. Lewis owes a note on refresh and credits and a revised proposal with two lines and the quarterly option.
Watch: Brendan is waiting on the revised document and has not agreed anything. The evidence does not show whether he asked for a different tier.

Transcript
- Lewis Kerr NoneGood afternoon, Brendan, good afternoon Siobhán. Just waiting a second to see that everyone's in.
- Brendan Moran NoneGood afternoon, Lewis. I am here. I have the document open in front of me, just to confirm. It is titled as the Growth proposal, dated this week.
- Lewis Kerr NoneThat's the one. Siobhán, you've got the same?
- Siobhán Dunne NoneI do. Hello, both. I printed it, which will make Brendan happy.
- Brendan Moran NoneIt does. Which version are we looking at, though? I have the one that arrived yesterday afternoon.
- Lewis Kerr NoneThat's the current one, and the only one. If I change anything I'll re-issue it and say clearly that it replaces this one. So just to confirm what you want to buy and by when: Growth, for the teams Siobhán described, and a decision by 26 Sep 2025. Is that still right?
- Brendan Moran NoneAs a working assumption, yes. I should say that I have not agreed anything, I am reading it carefully.
- Lewis Kerr NoneOf course. Let me walk through it, then you can ask whatever you like. The headline is the total of £53,800, which is for the first year and includes the one-off implementation fee. That's before VAT.
- Brendan Moran NoneSo the figure is the total for the first year, implementation included. It is not the annual subscription on its own.
- Lewis Kerr NoneExactly right, and I'm glad you asked. After year one the subscription is what you'd renew, and the implementation fee doesn't repeat.
- Brendan Moran NoneThat is helpful. For my records, could you separate the two lines in the order form when it comes? I would like to see the subscription and the implementation as distinct items.
- Lewis Kerr NoneYes, it will be itemised that way. I'll make sure of it.
- Siobhán Dunne NoneCan I ask about what's in the implementation? Because Brendan will ask me later and I'd like to have said it out loud.
- Lewis Kerr NoneSure. It's a fixed fee, so it doesn't grow if it takes longer. It covers connecting the sources we've discussed, setting up the brain in your Snowflake account, the first dashboards, and training for your team. It's about eight weeks.
- Siobhán Dunne NoneAnd the connectors we named, they're committed? As in, there's a date they'll be live by?
- Lewis Kerr NoneYes. Any connector named in the order form carries a commitment that it will be live within a set number of days. I don't want to quote the number from memory, I'll put it in the order form so it's in the contract and not in my head.
- Brendan Moran NoneI appreciate that. From a compliance point of view, anything not in the contract is not a commitment.
- Lewis Kerr NoneAgreed entirely. The same applies to service levels. Growth has its standard availability and a response time on priority issues. If you want anything different, it would need to be written into the order form.
- Brendan Moran NoneThen I would like us to discuss that. We have certain expectations about how quickly a problem is handled, because our brokers will not wait.
- Lewis Kerr NoneThat's a fair thing to raise. Can you tell me what you'd be comfortable with? Then I can see whether it's within what Growth offers or whether it's a conversation about a different tier.
- Siobhán Dunne NoneHonestly, for a start-up of this I'd be fine with Growth's standard. It's the data being fresh by the morning that matters for the broker managers.
- Lewis Kerr NoneThe nightly refresh is complete by early morning, customer local time, on business days, on every tier. That's standard. What changes between tiers is the credit if it's missed, and I'd rather be exact about that in writing than paraphrase it on a call.
- Brendan Moran NonePlease do. And please state it clearly, because I will be asked.
- Lewis Kerr NoneI'll send a short note on that after this call. Anything else on scope before I come to terms?
- Siobhán Dunne NoneUsers. We'd start with fewer than the limit, but could we add more later without a conversation about a whole new tier?
- Lewis Kerr NoneYes. There are add-ons for extra users, in blocks, and the quote would be co-termed to your renewal so you're not paying for odd periods. I wouldn't push you to a bigger tier unless your usage justified it.
- Brendan Moran NoneGood. Now payment terms and the contract. I assume this sits under a master agreement, and that my colleague in legal will wish to review it.
- Lewis Kerr NoneIt does, the order form sits under the master agreement. I'd suggest you bring in your legal and compliance manager early, so we're not finding things at the last minute. Payment is thirty days from invoice, annual in advance, or quarterly if you ask.
- Brendan Moran NoneI would prefer to understand the quarterly option, if you can send it. Let us do this properly.
- Lewis Kerr NoneI'll include both options in the revised version. So to summarise the actions: I send a note on the refresh and credits, and a revised proposal with the two lines separated and the quarterly option. You bring in your legal colleague. And we speak again before 26 Sep 2025.
- Siobhán Dunne NoneGrand, so. I'll chase on the three data fields with my engineer as well, so that's off the list by then.
- Brendan Moran NoneThank you, Lewis. That was clear. I will wait for the revised document before I say anything further.
- Lewis Kerr NonePerfect. I'll send that over today. Kind regards, both.
