Current to 11 Oct 26Check-in on 12 Nov 2025 with Rebecca Nuttall, Head of Operations. Usage and connectors were healthy, only four or five of 15 licensed users are active, and she confirmed they are happy to carry on. No upgrade request yet.
What happened: Marcus Bell ran a check-in with Rebecca Nuttall, Head of Operations, on 12 Nov 2025. He reported about four active users a day, all four connectors clean and no major tickets.
Customer view: Rebecca said Wayne now asks the brain directly instead of waiting for Ian to run queries. People are also starting to use the billing dashboard for invoice questions.
Commercial: Copperlane is on Starter, and only four or five people are active against 15 licensed users. Custom dashboards would be a Growth upgrade, which Rebecca called not urgent.
Watch: Use rests on a small group, with Wayne the heavy user. Marcus planned to open renewal conversations about a month before the contract end he gave.

Transcript
- Marcus Bell NoneHi Rebecca, thanks for making time. It's been a few months now since you went live, so I thought I'd jump on and see how you're getting on with the brain.
- Rebecca Nuttall NoneYeah, good to hear from you. It's going well, actually. The team's using it.
- Marcus Bell NoneThat's brilliant. I've pulled the numbers. So you're on about four active users per day on average, and that's healthy growth from where you started. All four connectors working cleanly. No major tickets. How's it feeling from your side?
- Rebecca Nuttall NoneThe team really likes it. Wayne can just ask it in plain language, he doesn't have to wait for Ian to run queries. That's freed him up to do other things.
- Marcus Bell NoneThat's exactly what we want to see. So Wayne's a heavy user then?
- Rebecca Nuttall NoneYeah, he uses it a few times a day. Mostly answering client queries. And people are starting to use the billing dashboard for invoice questions too.
- Marcus Bell NoneGood. You on track with the licence, fifteen users?
- Rebecca Nuttall NoneYeah, we're well under. Only about four or five of us are active on it.
- Marcus Bell NoneOkay, there's some headroom there. Any features you've been wishing for?
- Rebecca Nuttall NoneNot really. It does what we need. If we wanted more, we'd probably want to build our own dashboards, but that's not urgent.
- Marcus Bell NoneUnderstood. That's a Growth tier thing. You're on Starter, so you get the pre-builts, but if you ever want custom dashboards, we can upgrade you. Let me know and I'll chat with Priya about it.
- Rebecca Nuttall NoneWill do. What else are you seeing from your side?
- Marcus Bell NoneJust general health checks. Your data's refreshing cleanly every night, no issues there. Connectors are all working, so you've got payroll, invoices, CRM, and calls all live. No major support tickets, which is great. I'd say things are really healthy.
- Rebecca Nuttall NoneGood to hear. How long till we need to think about renewal?
- Marcus Bell NoneNot for a while. Your contract runs till end of May 2026. We'll start renewal conversations about a month before that. So maybe March time. Fair to assume you'll want to carry on?
- Rebecca Nuttall NoneYeah, we're happy with it.
- Marcus Bell NoneBrilliant. Shall we do another check-in early in the new year?
- Rebecca Nuttall NoneSure, that works.
- Marcus Bell NoneBrilliant. I'll send you a calendar invite. Thanks for your time, Rebecca.
