What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Kickoff on 4 Mar 2026 with Hugh Fenton, Head of Data. Laura Penhaligon set out a four-week plan to connect four systems and asked for admin and Snowflake write access this week. Hugh was agreeable and keen to start.
What happened: Laura laid out the four weeks: requirements, build and test, more testing with the team, then go-live and handover. Amara Obi introduced herself as the main contact after go-live.
Customer view: Hugh asked what the timeline was, which systems would connect and what he would need to change. He said "Brilliant. Should be straightforward." and "Let's go."
Dependencies: Laura needs admin access to all four systems and write access to Snowflake, plus the data analyst for a couple of hours a week to validate the data.
Watch: Hugh asked for BB-Demo's usual success measure. Amara answered adoption, then said the value question would be checked at QBR.

Follow-up
Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Laura Penhaligon to send Hugh the access checklist on 4 Mar 2026.
- Amara Obi to put the training session in the diary for week four, once the brain is live.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- Go-live depends on Hugh Fenton supplying admin access to four systems and Snowflake write access this week.
- The data analyst is the only named technical validator, so the data checks depend on one person's time.
- Amara Obi promised quarterly check-ins, while the Starter tier includes six-monthly ones, so the order form should be checked.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- A clean go-live and early users from Hugh's team can build the adoption that supports the first renewal.
- The QBR value discussion Amara described gives a set point to agree what the brain is worth to Wrenfield.
Transcript
- Laura Penhaligon NoneHugh, great to meet you. I'm Laura, the implementation consultant. This is Amara, she's your customer success manager, she'll be your main point of contact once we go live. Today we're going to plan out the four weeks ahead.
- Hugh Fenton NoneGood. What does the timeline look like?
- Laura Penhaligon NoneRight. Week one is us gathering requirements from you: access to your systems, understanding your data structures, who owns what. Week two we build and test the connectors. Week three we do more testing with your team, make sure the data looks right. Week four we go live and hand over to you. I'll be running the technical side; Amara will coordinate adoption.
- Amara Obi NoneOnce you go live, we'll run a training session with your team on how to use the brain. After that, quarterly check-ins to make sure you're getting value and answer questions.
- Hugh Fenton NoneOkay. Which systems are we connecting?
- Laura Penhaligon NoneSo you told us: your ticketing system, the call recorder, invoicing, and your CRM. Those are the four. To be precise, I'll need admin access to all four and write-access to Snowflake so we can build the connectors there.
- Hugh Fenton NoneI can sort that. Do we need to do anything on our end, change anything in those systems?
- Laura Penhaligon NoneNot really. The longer answer is it depends on your data: if there are any quirks in how you've structured things, we might ask you to tweak a query or a field, but nothing major. I'll check when I dig into your systems. Worst case, we'd ask you to run a one-time data export to test.
- Hugh Fenton NoneAnd Toby, my data analyst, what's his role?
- Laura Penhaligon NoneToby's going to be crucial. He'll be my main contact on the technical side. I'll need him to validate the data once we've pulled it in, make sure it looks right from your business perspective. A couple of hours a week, probably.
- Amara Obi NoneAnd on adoption, we'll need him and Gemma and a couple of others as early users. They'll help us test the interface, give feedback, then they become champions to the rest of the team.
- Hugh Fenton NoneHow long is the go-live process itself?
- Laura Penhaligon NoneAssuming no major surprises, I'll do the final connector testing, we'll verify nightly refresh is working, and then we flip the switch. That's typically a morning's work. Once it's live, you've got my number if anything breaks.
- Hugh Fenton NoneGood to know. When do you want to start with the systems access?
- Laura Penhaligon NoneThis week if you can. I'll send you a checklist: admin credentials for each system, a test user account in Snowflake, that sort of thing. Once I've got that, I'll audit your data schema and send you back a plan for how we'll structure the connectors.
- Amara Obi NoneAnd we'll get a training date in the diary for week four, once you're live. Likely a couple of hours, walk through pages, chat, dashboards, how to ask the brain questions.
- Hugh Fenton NoneBrilliant. Should be straightforward. What's your usual success measure?
- Amara Obi NoneWe look at adoption: how many of your users are asking questions, building dashboards, that sort of thing. And we'll check in on the value question at QBR: are you seeing time savings, better decisions, fewer queries going unanswered?
- Hugh Fenton NoneFair enough. Let's go.
- Laura Penhaligon NonePerfect. I'll send the checklist today. Speak soon, Hugh.
