Current to 11 Oct 26Onboarding call with Neil Entwistle, Data Analyst. Credentials were sent, Salesforce field mappings are being finished, and a test refresh is due next week. Neil accepted the nightly 07:00 refresh as fine for Corriemoor Foods.
What happened: Callie Brennan confirmed the credentials had arrived and that the connectors are wired up. She is finishing the Salesforce field mappings and will pull the custom field API names herself.
Customer view: Neil was relaxed and cooperative. He listed a few custom fields and said monthly calendar periods apply in Xero.
Commercial: Nothing on price or renewal was raised. The nightly refresh, complete by seven in the morning, was accepted without objection.
Watch: The test refresh depends on Neil checking for missing orders or wrong customer details. Early data quality shapes later confidence.

- Callie Brennan NoneNeil, hi. Just checking in, how's it going with the credentials? Do you have them for me?
- Neil Entwistle NoneYeah, I've got them. Sent them yesterday actually, using the secure form you gave me.
- Callie Brennan NonePerfect, I'll check my email. Yeah, got them, thanks. Right, so I've started on the Salesforce connector. I need to ask you a couple of things, do you use custom fields on your account records? Anything beyond the standard fields?
- Neil Entwistle NoneA few. We've got a customer segment field, an account value field, and one for sales rep. But nothing too exotic.
- Callie Brennan NoneGood. I can map those. What I need is the API names for those fields, Salesforce gives them weird names in the background. I can grab them from your instance but I wanted to ask you first in case you know them.
- Neil Entwistle NoneHonestly, I'd have to dig into Salesforce to find that. I can send it to you if you want, but it might be quicker if you just pull it.
- Callie Brennan NoneNo problem, I'll get them. One other thing, on your Xero side, what accounting periods do you use? Monthly?
- Neil Entwistle NoneYeah, monthly. Calendar months.
- Callie Brennan NoneGreat, that maps cleanly. Okay, so where we are is the connectors are wired up, I'm just finishing the field mappings. Probably by end of week I'll have a test refresh ready. What that means is I'll load a sample of your data into the test environment and we can try some searches and see if it's pulling the right stuff.
- Neil Entwistle NoneAnd if something's wrong we fix it then?
- Callie Brennan NoneExactly. That's the whole point of the test refresh. We don't go to production until I'm confident it's right. Sound okay?
- Neil Entwistle NoneYeah, that makes sense.
- Callie Brennan NoneGood. So I'll be in touch next week with the test environment details. You'll get a link, log in, try a few searches. Let me know if anything looks off: orders missing, customer details wrong, that kind of thing. I'll be ready to fix it. Any questions from you?
- Neil Entwistle NoneJust wondering how long the full refresh takes once we go live. Is it an overnight thing or does it run all day?
- Callie Brennan NoneNightly, complete by seven in the morning. One go, one load. So if someone adds a record in Salesforce at three in the afternoon they see it the next morning at seven.
- Neil Entwistle NoneThat's fine for us.
- Callie Brennan NoneGreat. I'll email you the test environment next week. Just let me know what you find. Thanks, Neil.
