What this says
Current to 10 Oct 26On 2023-04-19 Imogen Hartley saw the brain answer a real question with links to source tickets and said she was content. Accounting connector approval and a small first user group were agreed.
What happened: Craig Paterson reported the call recorder and helpdesk connectors green, with the overnight refresh complete by 07:00. Tobias Renwick demonstrated a member-query question on a scheme Imogen chose, and Craig checked one answer against the original ticket.
Customer view: Imogen, the Head of Data, called the result rather good and said the links back to the source are what matter. She wants to try three real schemes before opening it more widely.
Commercial: The next step is the accounting connector, scoped to invoice headers and lines, with approval from Morag expected by the end of the week. Imogen plans a handful of relationship managers, well inside fifteen users.
Watch: Fee data is not yet connected, so the picture is incomplete. Craig's change freeze means the accounting connector goes in after it.

Follow-up
Next steps
Current to 9 Oct 26- Imogen to send the accounting scope note to Morag today.
- Craig to create the credential once Morag approves, after the change freeze.
- Daniel to take the user side and watch questions asked as the first measure.
Risks
Current to 9 Oct 26- The accounting connector waits on Morag's approval, so fee data stays out of the brain for now.
- A first group of only a handful of users could leave adoption narrow.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- Once invoices are connected, relationship managers could see fees alongside trustee calls and member queries.
Transcript
- Tobias Renwick NoneGood morning, both. Is everyone able to hear me? Imogen, I wasn't sure you could make it.
- Imogen Hartley NoneMorning, Tobias. Yes, I've shuffled a meeting. I'd like to see where we are before I say anything to Douglas.
- Craig Paterson NoneMorning. I'll start, if that's all right, and read out the console. Call recorder connector: green, last refresh complete overnight. Helpdesk connector: green, loaded, refreshing nightly. Accounting connector: not yet configured.
- Tobias Renwick NoneThank you, that's clear. And the overnight refresh, was it complete by seven?
- Craig Paterson NoneAye, it was, and I checked at that time on purpose. Just to flag, there was one wobble earlier in the week where the helpdesk connector showed a warning and cleared itself. I kept an eye on it and it hasn't come back.
- Tobias Renwick NoneThank you for noting it. To be precise, that will have been the source rate-limiting during a heavier read, and it's the kind of thing we expect while a backfill settles. If it recurs, send me the log excerpt and we'll look together.
- Imogen Hartley NoneMay I ask what the brain actually knows right now? I know the plumbing is working, but I'd like to know whether a relationship manager could ask a real question today.
- Tobias Renwick NoneA fair question. With the calls and the tickets in, a manager could ask about a scheme and get the trustee call history alongside the member queries. What they couldn't yet do is bring the fees in, because the invoices aren't connected. So it's a useful picture, but not the whole one.
- Imogen Hartley NoneThat's about what I'd hoped. I'd like to try it with three real schemes before we open it to anyone else. What would the brain say if I asked what members have been querying across a scheme in the last quarter?
- Tobias Renwick NoneLet me share my screen and try it on a scheme you choose. Tell me one that you know well, so you can judge the answer.
- Imogen Hartley NoneUse the one with the most trustee attention. I'll not name it on a recording, but you'll see it near the top.
- Tobias Renwick NoneHere. It's returned the member-query tickets grouped by theme, and it's pointing each theme at the tickets behind it. And alongside, it's pulled the trustee calls where those themes were discussed.
- Imogen Hartley NoneThat's rather good, and I say that as someone who's seen a lot of these. The links back to the source are what matter. May I check one against the original ticket?
- Craig Paterson NoneI've got it open. Aye, the ticket matches. The theme is correct and the dates line up.
- Imogen Hartley NoneThen I'm content. The real question now is the invoices, because Morag will want the fee side visible, and I'd like her to see the same quality of answer.
- Tobias Renwick NoneThe scope note for the accounting connector is ready, and I've kept it to invoice headers and lines, as discussed. Imogen, if you pass it to Morag, then Craig can create the credential once she approves.
- Imogen Hartley NoneI'll send it to her today. She'll want to read it carefully, so I'd not expect an answer before the end of the week.
- Craig Paterson NoneThat suits me. I've got a change freeze on our side for a few days anyway, so it's better we go after.
- Tobias Renwick NoneNoted, and thank you for saying so. That's precisely the advance notice I'd hoped for. Let's put the accounting connector after your freeze, with an evening change window as agreed.
- Imogen Hartley NoneOn users, Tobias: I'd begin with a handful of relationship managers, well inside fifteen. Daniel has the list I owe him, and I'll make sure the sceptics are in it.
- Tobias Renwick NoneGood. Daniel will take the user side, and he'll watch questions asked as the first measure, so you can judge whether it's spread or concentrated.
- Craig Paterson NoneJust before we close, a practical thing. Who do I tell if the refresh doesn't finish by seven? I'd rather not guess.
- Tobias Renwick NoneTell Daniel and copy me, with a screenshot and the log excerpt, which I know you'd do anyway. The honest answer is that you'll get a reply that day, and it'll say what we know and what we don't.
- Imogen Hartley NoneLovely. Then I'll leave you to it. Thank you both.
- Craig Paterson NoneCheers. Regards.
- Tobias Renwick NoneThank you both. Best.
