Daniel Okafor proposes a check-in on usage and the contract end. Imogen Hartley agrees to Thursday 10:00, asks him to come to Fenmoor, and says she suspects the team uses a mix of the brain and spreadsheets.

Ask: Daniel wants an hour to hear how the brain is landing and to discuss what comes next at the contract end. He reports more people asking questions than a quarter ago and no tickets raised.

Customer view: Imogen would rather build on the brain than start again, but suspects capacity provider queries are answered by "a bit of both" the brain and spreadsheets. She wants to see who is asking and who is not before saying anything about next steps.

Next: Thursday 10:00 at Fenmoor in London. The thread does not show the outcome.

Hello Imogen, Thank you for your time on the phone earlier in the week, and congratulations again on settling into the CDO seat at Fenmoor. It is lovely to be working with you on this side of the table. I'd like to put a proper check-in in the diary, just to close the loop on how the brain is being used now that you have had a few weeks to look around. The usage numbers for the Growth set-up are moving in the right direction, with more people asking questions than a quarter ago, and no tickets raised with us at all, which I take as a good sign. But the real picture always comes from the people using it, so I would rather hear it from you and your team than read it off a dashboard. Could you do a slot on Thursday or Friday next week? Either morning would suit me, or mid-afternoon if that is easier around your own meetings. An hour should be plenty, and I am happy to come to you in London if you would rather do it in person. It would also be useful to talk, in general terms, about what the capacity providers are asking your underwriting operations for at the moment, so we can make sure the brain is answering those questions as directly as it can. And as the contract end approaches at the close of June, it makes sense for us to look at what comes next together, with no rush. How is the team finding it, by the way? I'd value your honest read. Best wishes, Daniel

Daniel, Thank you, and it is good to be working with you again too. I have to say the brain was one of the first things I was relieved to find already sitting at Fenmoor. I've seen this work before and I'd rather build on it than start from scratch. Thursday morning suits me best. Shall we say 10:00? If anything moves on my side I will tell you by Wednesday evening at the latest. Coming to you is fine, though I would prefer you came here so you can see how the underwriting operations team actually uses it day to day. The real question is whether the capacity provider queries are getting answered from one view or whether people are still reaching for spreadsheets, and I suspect the honest answer is a bit of both. On the contract, yes, let's look at it properly rather than leave it to the last fortnight. I would like to understand what we are getting across the licensed users, who is doing the asking and who is not, before I say anything about next steps. Let's make it count. Best, Imogen
