Current to 10 Oct 26Daniel Okafor's notes of a 23 Sep 2024 check-in with Callum Reid: the refresh holds and no tickets, but usage is steady rather than growing and concentrated in a few people. No customer reply in the thread.
Customer view: As Daniel records it, Callum values capacity-provider questions answered in minutes and says some underwriters still start from old spreadsheets out of habit. He also finds the claims tickets view hard to read.
Risk: Usage is narrow for a licence meant to cover the wider team, and no ticket silence should be read as proof of health.
Next: Daniel owes a note on question types and a view on the claims screen, and proposes a short underwriter walkthrough.

Where things stand - The brain is refreshing overnight as it should, and you told me the dashboards have been right first thing each morning. That was the main thing you needed from us, so I'm glad it's holding. - Nothing has come in from your team as a support ticket recently, which I read as a good sign, though I'd rather hear it from you than assume. - Usage has been steady rather than growing. A handful of people are in the brain most days, and you and one or two of your senior underwriters are asking most of the questions. I mentioned that this is a little narrow for a licence that covers your wider team. What you told me - The questions that matter most to you are the ones capacity providers send in about bordereaux and submissions. You'd like those answered from the brain in minutes rather than pulled together by hand. - Some of your underwriters still go to the old spreadsheets first out of habit. You were frank that this is a habit problem, not a data problem. - You'd like the claims tickets view to be easier to read for people who don't live in it every day. What I'll do - I'll put together a short note on the question types that work best for oversight queries, so you can pass it round your team. I'll come back to you by the end of this week with a draft. - I'll look at the claims view with our team and tell you what is realistic. - I'd like to run a short walkthrough for your underwriters, if you think they'd give it half an hour. How is the team finding it day to day? Your honest read would help me pitch it properly. On your side, if you could let me know which two or three capacity-provider questions come up most often, I can build the walkthrough around those. Please correct anything I've got wrong above. Best wishes, Daniel
