What it says
What this says
Current to 11 Oct 26Final onboarding plan for a Starter brain at Lornefield, prepared by Tobias Renwick, starting 3 Apr 2023. It states the contract value as nineteen thousand five hundred pounds, fifteen users and a four-week build. It states no availability or P1 response commitment.
What it is: an internal build plan for the scheme-relationship managers, marked "Final" and prepared by Tobias Renwick. It sets out five phases from Prepare to Review, each with a B-Brain owner and a customer owner.
Commits: the contract summary table gives the tier as Starter, the annual contract value as "nineteen thousand five hundred pounds", fifteen licensed users and a term of "3 Apr 2023 to 2 Apr 2024". The plan covers "four weeks, with up to four connectors".
Unusual: nothing off the standard Starter terms. The plan is a delivery document, not an order form, and names no service levels, credits or connector delivery dates.
Not settled: it does not show who signed, what happened after the stated term ended on 2 Apr 2024, or any renewal terms. It is a 2023 record and should not be read as the current position.

Body
Lornefield Pensions Administration - Onboarding Plan
Status: Final. Start of onboarding: 3 Apr 2023. Prepared by Tobias Renwick, Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder, B-Brain.
Purpose
Lornefield Pensions Administration is a third-party administrator for occupational pension schemes and one of our first design partners. This plan sets out how we build the company brain for its scheme-relationship managers, so that trustee calls, member-query tickets and fee invoices can be seen in one place.
Contract summary
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Tier | Starter |
| Annual contract value | nineteen thousand five hundred pounds |
| Licensed users | fifteen |
| Term | 3 Apr 2023 to 2 Apr 2024 |
| Account owner | Nell Ashcombe |
| Customer success manager | Daniel Okafor |
Principles
- The brain runs inside the customer's own Snowflake account, so the data stays under the customer's own controls.
- We connect a small number of sources well, within the Starter connector limit, rather than many sources thinly.
- Each phase ends with something the scheme-relationship managers can try for themselves.
Phases

| Phase | What happens | B-Brain owner | Customer owner |
|---|---|---|---|
| Prepare | Confirm sources, access and the people who will use the brain first | Daniel Okafor | Operations lead |
| Connect | Set up the connectors for the call recorder, the helpdesk and the accounting system | Tobias Renwick | A colleague in IT |
| Index | First load and checks that records are arriving and are complete | Tobias Renwick | Operations lead |
| Launch | Short sessions for the scheme-relationship managers; first questions asked together | Daniel Okafor | Head of scheme relationships |
| Review | Look at early usage and agree what to tune before the first check-in | Daniel Okafor | Operations lead |
The Starter implementation is planned over four weeks, with up to four connectors.
Milestones
- Sources and access confirmed in the first week.
- First load complete and checked by the end of the connect and index phases.
- Scheme-relationship managers asking questions of their own data at launch.
- Early usage reviewed with the customer after launch.
Risks to watch
- Access to a source arriving late because of the customer's internal approvals.
- A source system changing during the build, which would stop a connector loading.
- Too few people trying the brain in the first weeks; Daniel will keep in touch with the team to help.
After onboarding
Daniel Okafor takes the account into business as usual and keeps in regular contact with the customer. Nell Ashcombe remains the executive point of contact.
